Fantastic experience: Picking the right agency is important when selling a property. Some agencies will give you an overpriced figure to get your business. But they will not deliver and in the end, you get a lower price. Some agencies are not really invested in the vendor and getting the best price for them. Researching, asking questions, looking at comps and comparing what different agencies provided showed me a varied range of information and what they offered. You need to feel comfortable and have a connection with the agent and they need to demonstrate a fair and honest approach. After doing the homework I settled with The Professionals, Mildura. I worked with Marcus Coppola from The Professionals to repair and bring the property up to a great standard. The tenant and the agency who had previously managed the property had not done their job in protecting my investment. They had allowed the tenant to cause damage and left the property in a filthy and damaged state. The previous agency had failed to act on my instructions and they were not getting my business with the sale of it when they allowed the tenant to damage my property, hence the search to find a suitable agent. From the first contact Marcus provided clear communication and guidance. At all times he was honest and gave a realistic price and offered suggestions to improve the property to maximise the final price. In all dealings with Marcus, he was supportive, helpful, provided clear communication, helped with so many things. He organised great trades to attend the property. He had a fabulous stylist. He kept me updated of progress at all times. I found Marcus Coppola to be very personable. He was invested in obtaining the best price. He went out of his way to do things for me. He worked hard following up on interest in the property. He got a good price and in a very quick time, a week on the market. Nothing was to much trouble for him. He was a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend him if you are seeking to sell a property.

Negative experience: I had a highly disappointing experience with them. Communication was abysmal, with long response times and unhelpful answers to my inquiries. I understand that they have heaps of properties to look after and hence too busy to reply to any queries. Maintenance issues were consistently neglected, leaving me frustrated and inconvenienced. Additionally, the agent showed a lack of professionalism and failed to address concerns promptly or effectively. A simple, 'the vendor won't be able to fix, you will have to do it yourself' would have helped I have dealt with multiple agents, as an owner and a tenant. Never experienced such 'dont care' attitude. Overall, my experience as a tenant was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend their services to others. Addendum. 28092024 I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and rude behavior I experienced from the real estate office. After leaving an honest review about my experience as a tenant, I received a phone call from their office. The manager who called was incredibly rude and disrespectful, insisting that I shouldn’t have written the review. What’s worse is that she kept accusing me of leaving the house dirty and filthy, which is absolutely false. I had already provided detailed pictures of every area of the house to their team, showing that the property was left clean and in good condition. Despite this, the manager continued with her baseless accusations and showed no intention of resolving the matter professionally. I am appalled by the attitude of the team and strongly condemn their behavior. This kind of treatment towards tenants is completely unacceptable, and I hope no one else has to go through this.

Negative experience: Recently had dealings with this agent and the property management team . If I could award no stars it would certainly be applicable for the service I received. I was after a property up to 800 a week and had previously rented many high end properties over the years in Mildura during job transfers. Found there whole process to be absolutely dreadful, was dealing with several property managers over a period of 3-4 weeks and the communication was appalling, they kept blaming the owners for delays in multiple applications and said I should try other agents I had dealt with previously as would have a better chance of obtaining a property. I took there advice today and applied for two properties both at 700 a week but the Agencies like the Professionals I hadn’t dealt with previously, to my surprise I was contacted within 3 hrs with an approval on both one of which I accepted. The property manager who got my business also opened the house for an inspection after hrs late Saturday afternoon as I was coming up from Adelaide and I couldn’t get there during the working hours , to me that went over and above what I expected but showed what real sales professionals they really were. There was just total arrogance shown by the Professionals Real Estate Company and its staff which was extremely disappointing considering there standing in the local community. Been in the sales industry for more than 30 years and I simply cannot understand why this attitude still exists today.

Our first experience with another agent from another company was not a great one, so to have Carole show us how an amazing experience it can be, made my husband and I very happy. Negative experience: Edited June 2020. Hi Tony, you hear of horror stories like this in NSW but don’t expect it from “The Professionals”. You’re welcome to phone me anytime to discuss this as I have not heard from any of you again. The below review relates to us trying to buy a little house across from the school in Gol Gol. It speaks volumes that you didn’t address any of my specific complaints. I still stand by this review of your agent who does not put your agency in a good light. I’ve since had positive experiences with Mildura Property Advisers, Collie Tierney FN and Ryan Tierney. Three more property sales, two in NSW, and all the while actively avoiding any property listed with The Professionals. The process was like I expected: offer is submitted, agent comes back with slightly higher, we say yes or no, offer is finalise, sale is complete. Paperwork goes to solicitor etc. We did everything the agent Jason told us to do. “Don’t worry, it’s all yours”. He said the contract wasn’t yet ready yet due to title issues (lie #1) and that our offer was successful, the vendor had accepted. He never once asked us for a better offer. In fact he told us the precise amount we should offer. That should have been the clue. After we had jumped through the hoops of unconditional finance (the long list of documents for proof to the lender, proof of deposit etc) he suddenly rang and said “sorry cash offer, short settlement and it’s much higher than yours” (lie #2). Ethical behaviour would have been to a, not lie about the alleged delay in contract (it’s not legal to list a house is the contract isn’t ready) and b, just say from the start: there are other interested parties, so please put in higher amount. Everything turned out to be a flat out con which took advantage of the fact that we were new to buying in NSW. Dishonest and UNprofessional. We are still extremely upset by the conduct of your agent and will be for a long time. As a young family we have been in involved the sale and purchase of a few other homes. Never had such an experience in any other state or with any other agent. Word of mouth should be valued. Gazumping is legal in NSW but illegal/discouraged in other states for this reason. While sales revenue, the bottom line and winning awards for the million dollar club are something you all strive for, perhaps consider that reputation is also paramount.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Frances Roccisano (and her team) for rentals. I needed to move to Mildura for work urgently and was very disappointed with the agents in the area. Most didn’t even return my phone call or email- the few that did were unwilling to be flexible with viewing times. Frances called me promptly after receiving my email and advised me of a property that perfectly suited my needs. She was willing to meet me at the property at my convenience and had the tenancy agreement sorted that day. She was a pleasure to deal with throughout the lease too.
