Fantastic experience: We've been dealing with Stephanie McKay regarding a rental property that we wanted to lease out. We had been with a couple of other companies over the years and would honestly say... they tried, but. Our experience with Steph couldn't have been easier, she knew her stuff, I continually told her, we will be guided by you, and she did a wonderful job. Communication with me was excellent with regard to tenant enquiries and previous rental history, as well as "gut feeling", which I appreciated enormously. I could not recommend Steph any higher for the dealings that I have had with her, even though I may have been a bit painful, nothing was a problem for her. 10/10

Negative experience: My experience with Tamworth Property Co was, without question, one of the worst professional experiences I have ever had. Despite paying for their most expensive marketing package, I received what I considered to be a poor-quality campaign. The photography was disappointing, the property description contained basic spelling errors that I had to point out, communication was inconsistent, and there were administrative mistakes requiring documents to be corrected and re-signed. I also believe I was given unrealistic expectations regarding the property's value, resulting in it being overpriced during the crucial early stages of the campaign. Concerns I raised were often dismissed, and I was left feeling that my interests were not being properly represented. I was particularly disturbed by comments made during the appraisal that I found inappropriate and unprofessional. Combined with the overall lack of communication, poor marketing, and disappointing service, the entire experience caused unnecessary stress. When I later raised my concerns with management and sought at least a partial refund, I felt they were dismissed. As a result, I have looked into lodging a formal complaint with NSW Fair Trading. For the premium fees charged, I expected premium service. Instead, I experienced poor marketing, poor communication, careless mistakes, and an overall lack of professionalism. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Tamworth Property Co to do their research carefully before signing with them. Went with PRD instead, can not recommend them enough, absolutely beyond professional and helpful on ever level from start to finish, do not ever go with TPC.

Fantastic experience: Navigating the housing market as a buyer is quite the experience. But Sue and Doug at Tamworth Property Co made it such a joy. Their honesty and up front approach was refreshing. There were no smoke and mirrors - just good old fashioned helpfulness. We loved working with them! Negative experience: Tradesmen beware of working with Tamworth Property Co, particularly Narelle who wants you to go back again and again to fix petty things that weren’t listed in the quote, but won’t pay you until it’s done. When payment reminders are ignored, a small business has no choice but to pull the pin with this company and concentrate on other real estates who know your worth. Since then we have met other contractors who have said the same so be warned before you take on Narelle’s jobs.

Negative experience: Tried to up rent with only a weeks notice. Never do anything to fix the property or problems with the property. Will try and take as much money as possible front you. Told a young family their rental was being renovated and that they didn't need to find a new one, only the then give them notice to leave a few weeks later. The list goes on! Awful lot and always churning through staff

Negative experience: 1 star based on my 2 brief encounters with the condescending creature called Roslyn. Completely dismissive, judgemental, and rude for no reason. She acted so inconvenienced by my very existence. Would not do business with her if she was the last agent on earth.

Fantastic experience: I bought through Tamworth Property Co from Dan Watson and engaged them to lease my property, Steph McKay was dealing with me and she was amazing to work with, always returned my calls and answered all my queries also managed to find me a tenant in only a couple of weeks, highly recommended them.

Positive experience: We had a bit of a dodgy experience when one of the receptionist/ consultants leaked our personal and financial information (how much we were paying in rent ect and questioned how we could afford moving into our own home) to some people that we knew that obviously relayed the information back to us, we did report it I diddnt hear anything back on it however. But beside that Our property manager (Lesley) was awsome! Always very quick onto any issue and made renting comfortable and enjoyable honestly the best in the buisness Both moving in and moving out of our rental was super easy

Negative experience: Unfortunately my experience was not a very nice or great experience with the property management team from property co especially Narelle,I was renting for years and always paid my rent and took good care of my Property and never had a bad name with any real estate over many years as I'm elderly always had a good rental reference , Then all of a sudden they told me to leave and when I left they stole my bond I was in the property for years and because the owner wanted over 300 dollars for a tiny unit and I said no they chucked me out The owners of this property is very bad to deal with as well they were very rude and disgusting even tho I rented off them for years Narelle is also rude and discriminative she discriminated against a man for not being able to move in the property for being a male and told him no he's not clean enough also being Aboriginal Do not rent from them save the trouble they also only tried to give me 2 days to move out of the property as the rent was due Also as they are friends with the owners they treated tenants with disrespect and the owners said because they were friends with the real-estate agent Narelle they can do whatever they want and treated. Me with such disrespect after many years of renting with them

Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience with the property manager at Tamworth Property Co has been disappointing. The communication from the property manager has been consistently poor, with important information being relayed late or not at all. Additionally, I was surprised to find out the property manager driving past the property and taking photos without providing any prior notice, which I believe is unprofessional and a breach of privacy. I hope that the Tamworth Property Co takes this feedback to improve their communication practices and professionalism in the future.

However, having experienced Dan Watson’s professionalism and friendliness, I believe his attitude and interpersonal abilities should be commended. Dan showed me the house I have purchased, yet not only did he provide a detailed explanation on the property he was also very happy to answer and questions I had, but his diligence in going the mile to offer extra help after hours is something I have not ever witnessed. His kindness and open spirit as an agent made travelling 4 hours up to Tamworth many times, worth it. I would also like to thank Issac who went out of his way to find us a house in a safe area and went above and beyond what we imagined. He was continuously keeping us updated everyday with the progress of our applications and making sure if we were unsuccessful that our application was passed on to the next property available. Fantastic experience: Tamworth Property Co. has been so helpful and professional. The best experience we’ve ever had with any agency. Isabel was our first point of contact and Lesley is our property manager, nothing but praise for both of them. We moved interstate and as a result conducted an online inspection via FaceTime. Somehow, house hunting was the least stressful thing thanks to these guys, and we already had a home waiting for us. Everything went smoothly, Isabel was in constant touch with me to ensure everything was processed as soon as possible. It took them less than 3 business days to confirm our tenancy, and they understood the urgency of our situation. So professional and quick. They are also very organised- the PropertyMe website is a great tool to manage rent payments and any management requests. Definitely recommend them!

Negative experience: I'm disgusted! Friends have been renting with Tamworth Property Co for the last five months. During this time they have been exposed to secondhand smoke seeping through from the unit next door. They're moving out now because they can't tolerate it any more....NOW THEY'RE BEING CHARGED THREE WEEKS RENT($855) AS A BREAK LEASE FEE . Seems we get to walk down Peel St and be safe from secondhand smoke, but this family is being penalised for wanting to protect their little girls from exposure in their own home. It's simply WRONG!!! This family had to resort to covering exhaust fans with cling wrap to prevent their whole home smelling of smoke. Property Co's response: "I am instructing you to remove the cling wrap from the working exhaust fans and use them when showering or cooking to ensure the property ventilation is supplied to these areas....If you do not follow these instructions you will be held responsible for any damage such as mould or condensation issues caused by lack of ventilation and you will be responsible for rectifying this damage before vacating the property". No concern for the fact that they were blocking the vents in an attempt to block exposure to secondhand smoke, their concern is for PROPERTY NOT PEOPLE. Maybe they need to be reminded of the words "Black Lives Matter". But as per usual, when I questioned them about their response (or more importantly, their lack thereof) to this issue and not advocating for the tenants I was told "bear in mind, we work on behalf of the landlord". Stop passing the buck Tamworth Property Co. You know Section 52 of Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW), specifically Section (1A) (c) regarding adequate ventilation for tenants. Stop blaming the landlord for wanting the break lease fee, do the right thing!!

Negative experience: I was just reading about the family being charged for breaking lease to move to a smoke free home. Being a non smoker myself I can fully understand them needing to move. I would think the agent and owner of their rental would have a bit of decency and put compassion ahead of greed.

Fantastic experience: Great service friendly people

Negative experience: Worst experience for tenants of 1year. We dealt with invasion of privacy. Our agent had driven past our house without notice and sent us a maitenance issue for our Lawns which mind you was at the same height as everyone else on the street and her excuse was they had been sending this notice to everyone on the street which makes me believe that they all do this all the time ! Until i disputed that she breached our privacy and she had this withdrawn. Also when we vacated our property we were stripped with our entire Bond payment because they had not given us a quote on the cleaning and lawns and went ahead and got it done which cost us $800!! for just cleaning and mowing lawns. Worst experience and wouldn't reccomend. Also you can forget about them attending to maintenance fixtures in the house because every job we asked them to fix is months delayed.
