Fantastic experience: Best sales agent in Whyalla, Jake Pope rolls up his sleeves, gets in there and gets the job done—no ifs, buts or maybes. He's extremely efficient with communications during the process as well and he doesn't leave you wondering what's going on. We initially bought one property in Whyalla through Elders and have since sold two properties in Whyalla through Jake. You won't find a better agent then this young man, I definitely wouldn't go elsewhere if you're looking to sell or buy.

Always replies promptly, has addressed any concerns we have had maintenance wise with our rental and has resolved the issues straight away! Negative experience: I had one of the worst experiences with this real estate agency during my time in Australia. Their primary concern seemed to be securing commission and settlement amounts ( i sold my prop), with little to no regard for client service or responsibility. Emails were consistently ignored, requiring me to follow up multiple times just to get basic responses. Never attend the phones, alwasy say exuse, They failed to pay my water bills as agreed and then unfairly blamed me for the arrears. When I tried to raise concerns, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior. As someone from an Asian background, I also felt I was treated unfairly and with a lack of respect—something that should never be acceptable in any professional service. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for real estate services in this area. This agency has demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care.

Fantastic experience: I am an investor based in Sydney and have NO idea the investment market in Whyalla Region, recently I meet Jake and he is a gentlemen with wealth of knowledge in-regards to the Region and what I like the most was a true sales person with clear understanding of clients requirements. Negative experience: I've noticed several listings from Jake advertised INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED and guess what? Months upon months have passed and they have not sold. Instead of reducing prices after 3 months, how about actually putting a reasonable price on the properties to begin with?? The property that's currently advertised with the indoor pool was priced WAY to high and has now been reduced. Pricing high simply because of an old plastic pool when the rest of the home is very out-dated and in need of repair is silly. Now 26 Ralph St has been advertised today and it's probably the worst case of overpricing I've ever seen!! It's like a 1970s dump and about $100,000 overpriced!! There's NEW HOUSES being sold for cheaper!! This guy seems foolish and inexperienced and who loses?? The poor owners wanting a quick sale but having to deal with price reduction after price reduction because of inaccurate initial pricing. Utterly ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Jake was given the hard task of selling my tenanted property off market, so as not to disrupt my tenant. He was not only respectful of this request and my tenants privacy, but had the property sold quicker than I expected, and at the best sales price for the street. He found the right buyer who was serious and didn't waste anyone's time. I highly recommend Jake. He is professional, considerate and his communication cannot be faulted. And he doesn't sit on his hands giving excuses about why the property is not selling. He gets out and does the work. Thank you Jake. Well done.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Elders for nearly 8 years. The staff are very friendly. Kylie is very nice.

Negative experience: i tried to make a booking for a viewing of a large property in Iron Knob two days ahead of arriving in Iron Knob from Victoria as we are looking at buying in the area. Jake's reply was he would let me know the next day if he could do it, i waited till late afternoon the next day for a reply and got no response at all. Jake then texts me after me having to ring the office to chase him up, as I had heard nothing, only to get a text from him to say he cant fit it in. I then asked him via text if another person could do show us through, again I got no reply at all. I then asked if we could show ourselves through if we signed for a key, but again received no reply at all from Jake. Very poor customer service, obviously they don't won't buyers for their properties.

Fantastic experience: I rented a property in Whyalla from Elders real estate and found them to be professional and very helpful. My property Manager was Andrew Storey and he was always at the end of a phone to help and give advice, even when he was on holiday. I would highly recommend this agency.

Negative experience: Hi I had worst experience with elders not recommended at all . Our kitchen oven is not working from last 90 days and they still making excuses to fix it and when I go to office to see property manager they always said we will call you back but no one called at all and ask to come back because property manager is on holidays I came today morning to see her and receptionist said she is not here you can come back at 2 and I went 2 o clock again same answer property manager is on lunch break . If she go for lunch break at 2 so why you asked me to come back at 2 disgusting

They were very helpful and found a place within a short space of time when places became available. They also made the process very easy and answered any questions I had. Fantastic experience: I had been on a lease for a rental property with Elders for a year recently at Whyalla. I must say that they are the best, efficient, the most cooperative, and active real estate agent. Kylie was the property manager of the house. And she had never given a chance to complaint about. She had been always active, responsive and taking ownership of her job. The complete process, from initial inspection before signing the agreement to final inspection after vacating the place, was flawless, quick and clear. They are also quick in responding to amy queries, concerns, or requests. They also made sure all the genuine maintenance requests get resolved at the earliest, sometimes on the next business day even. I highly admire, appreciate and thank the whole Elders Whyalla team for such a wonderful job they are doing. I would never prefer any other agency if I have the opportunity to work with Elders.

Negative experience: Haven't got any positives regarding this Real Estate, in particular with renting. Very poor in communication, both rude and dishonest. Were poor in trying to find a new tenant when there were many applicants available to take over a lease. 5 months later since the property has been relet and still yet to receive the bond back, they have even tried to deny the bond, which is now a matter of SACAT (All bills were paid and house left spotless, new tenants have confirmed this with us). Cannot believe how incompetent they have been in simply refunding the bond, in past experience with other agencies it has usually been a very simple process. A complete lack of any form of professionalism and very dysfunctional - constantly told it is someone else's job (unsure of what actually gets done there). A 1 star rating is far too generous. Do not recommend this agency at all.

Negative experience: By far the worst real estate I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After the harassment, late return of funds and sheer arrogance of their management and rude staff, I will never deal will Elder Real Estate Whyalla again. A sheer toxicity to the community that only looks after their bottom line. It is a miracle that this real estate has lasted so long after this shonky business practise. Stay clear!!

Negative experience: Dishonest. They keep money from bond by lying, knowing the only way to get it back is to go to fair Trading. If you do not accept their offer, they keep ALL your money. Dishonest too the extreme. NO ETHICS.

Negative experience: Even one star is too much. While one property manager went over and beyond their duty to be helpful, sadly, most staff in this office were rude and lacking. The Manager needs spend money on training staff in their roles and responsibilities and their telephone etiquette.
