Negative experience: Stockdale will inspect your property without notice and justify it as not an inspect despite very much inspecting!: Email from stockdale: "On a recent drive-by inspection of your property it was noted that the front garden has not been maintained to the required standards and needs to be attended to as soon as possible. As the Renter(s) of this property, it is your responsibility to fully and regularly maintain and water the garden area, including the trees and shrubs, to mow and remove all lawn clippings and garden rubbish from the property" Further replies justifying their actions: "I have just read your breach notice in regards to the gardening notice, we did not enter or go onto the property as stated in the original email we sighted the condition of the property as we drove by when attending another inspection which we are legally allowed to do." Stockdale will harrass you 2+ years later (despite no evidence or them telling you earlier) for $60 "This is a reminder that your rent is now 1 days and $60.00 overdue. Please deposit a rental payment as soon as possible."

Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an outstanding service! I’m absolutely blown away by the entire experience from start to finish. I’ve never dealt with a property agency this efficient before. I walked into your office, got an appointment on the same day, the inspection was done shortly after, and the appraisal landed in my inbox before the end of the day. The whole process took less than 6 hours — truly rare in this industry. I’ve dealt with many real estate agencies in town over the years, but this experience stands out by far. Please keep up the fantastic work — our town needs more businesses with this level of professionalism, dedication, and passion. Excellent work, Vince!!! Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Just wouldn’t recommend as renter or prospective buyer. No genuine care for tenants or understanding. Generally just rude and they have a bad reputation among community for treating renters poorly. Difficult to work with because cleaners don’t want to work with them for end of lease cleaning jobs. They lied about future maintenance to the house including flooring but never followed through. When we got into the property it absolutely stank of cigarettes and we had dirty cupboards yet they held our professional cleaners doing the end of lease cleaning to impeccable standards in hopes of taking bond money for some light dust and outside window clean. They required a fumigation at a cost of 300$ for having pet dogs which we accepted despite the stench we had to put up with on our entry. They wanted the grass to be as green as when we moved in despite living in Shepparton with 35 + degree days for months and the whole street not having perfect green grass, it felt like a money grab on the bond. We lived with mould in the shower for months before it was attended to as we were given a house with no fly screen on a bathroom window to let air in. Generally they weren’t appreciative of anything we did in terms of taking care of and upgrading the property. They still did not release our bond after we had done all the items they asked and spent over a 1000$ preparing it for them they still made us wait longer then necessary for our bond. It was either thoughtless or lazy to not release it once all items were completed. In terms of buying, they ignored our expressions of interest on multiple properties they were selling, so we ended up buying elsewhere too. Just generally not a professional group from our experience.

By far the very best real estate company in Shep! Please keep up the great work!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. My experience with Stockdale and Leggo through the property manager Fiona was a disappointing one. We rented the house for 6 years and moved to Melb. Renting experience was ok, despite it was hard to request the property manager to act on anything non-urgent. Once we moved out, I called 10 times to ask for the release of bond. But the property manager does not reply email/phone call. It is finally released after 9 months.

Positive experience: Had a pleasant experience with Stockdale & Leggo during our tenancy process. It was extremely difficult moving houses especially during the lockdown period but Mia, Kia and the team had made the transition smooth and efficient for us. Responsive, professional and friendly. Any issues dealt with were resolved promptly every time. Mia has been very helpful and reliable.

My experience with Stockdale and Leggo was a continued lack of responsiveness to major health and safety issues regarding a property I was renting with them, these issues were pre existing to me moving into the rental property. I found it concerning the blatant disregard of the safety of tenants by Stockdale and Leggo. Highly recommend getting an advocate involved with them.

Negative experience: Own a property in Shepparton and appointed them as my Property Managers. Extremely Non Professional team with series of serious non compliance events one after another. We did have an excellent experience with their Sales Team when we bought this property, but every good impression was ruined by the Property Management Team.
