Negative experience: I would never rent a property through them again. Nor would I buy through them neither. Discussed in the way they treat there tenants and how unprofessional they are. They are quick to take rent but not in anywa No compassion nor do they help you find another rental after renting from them for 4plus years. And to the owners of the property thanks for the lack of compassion shown in my time of griefing.

Negative experience: Don't rent of this real estate they treat you poorly, just got a notice to vacate full of things I need to do how much rent before I leave and no word about helping me find a new home or a rental reference just demands, after keeping the property spotless and paying rent 3 weeks in advance for 4 years that is how they treat you, I have a son with a severe disability and we will be homeless and this real estate could not care less, and if I told you all the problems I have had with them in 4 years we be here for a week, so I have spoken up when I was in the right, and this is how you get treated, this is why tenants don't speak up because they live in fear they will become the next homeless person and still getting emails and threats 2 weeks after notice to vacate holding a rental reference over you if you don't meet there demands I have rented for over 40 years and this is the worst real estate I have ever had the property manager keeps emailing me saying that the rent is behind while I am sick in hospital and it is her fault I paid my rent 3 weeks in advance for 4 years and than freemans took away our ability to pay our rent and made us all tenants sign up to simple rent or centrepay and now because of their rules we can't pay the rent we have to wait on centrelink to pay them and they keep harassing us to pay and there is no other way because we had to sign up to there way please landlord's tenants give this real estate a wide berth it is the worst and non carring real estate I have had in over 40 years of renting well now I have put in for numerous houses and have been rejected because of this property manager she accused me of putting chemicals in the septic tank and because I spoke up for my self and told the truth she makes u homeless, I paid 3 weeks rent in advance and had this house spotless it took me 10 hours to mow the lawn and because you speak up you will go homeless I will have to put my son in care because of this woman do you want to end up like me well avoid this real estate at all costs and don't leave any thing undone when you leave because this Lynagh woman will get her contractors in and they have no one to answer to just a free slate to charge what they like and make up things like rubbish removal when the rubbish is all the owners and think they can get away with it but they will see as a current affairs has agreed to run my story,3 months later and this Lynagh woman is still harassing me won't remove me from freemans emailing list, avoid her like the plague

Negative experience: Drove from Brisbane to Nanango to view house for sale to be told half way the house had an offer the night before. Thanks James. Could have rang and told me to wait to see if offer was accepted. Would not recommend Freemans. Cost me a days work and $100 for fuel.

Negative experience: Don't rent through freemans worst realestate in qld , Don't sign up for the simple rent , it's all a scam , and they are so unprofessional when it comes to tenants , the agency is laughable , they do not care about anything except your money and even then it's not good enough , they are still charging me 2 weeks when my out date is the 31st , Oh by the way today. Keys get returned , but wait let's charge 2 extra weeks plus plus plus, when told they need to stop taking the rent they don't know , can't figure it out, Ray seems hopeless never has anything knowledgeable to say except i don't know. Can't help you sorry bye You would think that the RTA needs to tear them apart stop agencies like this from existing.i feel for the rest of the tenants through them. Negative experience: One Star is too much. Property manager rarely responds to emails, maintenance work done and invoiced without approval, plumbers are cowboys with no clue doing non compliant work with no care then wants to charge extra to fix their shoddy workmanship. Roof leaking with no followup. Yard overgrown with branches growing into weatherboards. Need I say more, avoid this pathetic excuse for a property manager like the plague!

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to ring Mandy (Amanda Feakins) at Freemans with regards to looking at some houses for investment. Mandy is professional, efficient, truthful, helpful, lovely to deal with and has a great sense of humour. She lets you look at the house at your pace, points out features and is truthful about any defects she knows of. She's always willing to take you back to see the property again and again. Mandy is the only real estate agent I would ever deal with in Nanango. I am also now renting out the properties with Kate as the property manager. Kate is also lovely, helpful and efficient and has found the greatest of tenants for me. Others in the office are also friendly and helpful. I am very happy with my dealings and continuing relationship with Freemans.

Positive experience: Our agent Mandy was helpful from start to finish. Honest and practical. We arrived with a long list and narrowed it down before leaving the office. We were shown several properties and advised before each inspection of the pros and cons of the property/location/issues etc. happy days ahead

Negative experience: No knowledge of properties they are selling which makes it extremely difficult to thoroughly inspect houses. Fail to keep inspection appointments and 'forget' to contact you in advance. No follow up on your questions, presumably because they don't care to get answers. Unprofessional start to finish.

Negative experience: This real estate is completely unprofessional & shouldn’t be in business. The property managers are more interested in selling a house than telling the truth about the real issues with a property. Thank god for building & pest inspections. Make sure you use your own building & pest & DO NOT tell them who you are using & don’t use their recommend ones & don’t let them convince you otherwise. Do not pay the deposit for a house until the inspections are done first, even if you have signed a contract, stall it until the build & pest is done. Otherwise put down “deposit pending building & pest” in your contract. They blatantly lie to your face when they know there are issues with a house. They tell you they know nothing about the property, yet it’s been rented though them for many years! There’s a folder from the tenets with “requests to be fixed” in your office!! Due to the building & pest inspection report & solicitor fees, it has been a complete waste of over $1,000 over issues that this agent already knew about & failed to disclose & also lied about these issues on the contract itself. Then you don’t even hear from them (contract signed, building & pest done)... We are still waiting! I guess you got caught out with the inspections so you all just hide in your office ‘till it goes away & you try find a sucker. Contract over. At least other real estates have been honest about the real “behind the scenes” issues with houses. No wonder you are a one star real estate & you don’t even deserve that one star.

Negative experience: Property manager is useless

Negative experience: Bought a house through them. Many mistakes. Difficult to deal with ONCE I'd signed a contract. Very adversarial. Didn't even respond many times. Didn't believe the Building and Pest report. Didn't even bring the keys to the house once settlement had occurred. 2nd post: After all of this, I got home and there was NO KEY TO THE GARDEN SHED. I rang up quite upset about it all and making a point that I wasn't going to take this rubbish anymore. I got rang back by the Real Estate Agent, Bernie, where he told me he would call the police on me if I rang up and swore at them again; I never swore or abused anyone. I told him I didn't swear and asked what was reported that I said. He did not answer this but denigrated me further by saying I am a disgrace and shouldn't be a teacher, to cut the lock on the garden shed with bolt cutters and to talk to my idiot lawyers. His words. For someone falsely accusing someone of abusive language and swearing, he is using very derogative language himself. My lawyers are filing formal legal complaints against him, which they are doing themselves and for free. If you are a buyer, particularly, I advise you to strongly avoid this man. He even said he solely works for his client before things went negatively and I'd signed the contract. I think this is personally unethical; I've bought property before and not had any experience near this. Just like buying something at Target, the consumer/buyer is still important.
