Negative experience: Please be aware wish I could give zero stars We will never rent a house though Barry plant again there rude don’t help the don’t help the tenant out at all the owner of the property we were renting though charged real estate agents towards the end of our lease because the old real estate agent told her things needed to be fixed and she refused Since she changed we have been treated with disrespect made to feel like we are dirty pigs breached three times for stuff that was already there eg mould in the grout of the tiles we have since moved out and it took a month for them to clam my full bond The pool was not in working order when we moved in see first lot of pictures we drained and cleaned it got it to working order looked beautiful we revived a water bill for almost $1000 a years worth of water in a quarter after the pool pump broke funny about that all the other bills have been about $300 for the whole 2 years so we refused to fill up the pool and she is charging us for draining and cleaning second lot of pool photos The house was so dirty when we moved in no one else wanted too rent the property the old real estate agent said and she is claiming for cleaning photos of how we left the property the mould we lived with in the main bedroom the roof leaked in 3 places when it rains nothing got fixed except the pool pump My husband is a painter by trade and was asked to remove mould from the ensuite and the owner would waver the next water bill this never happened as she changed real estate not long after that hubby killed the mould fixed a hole in the wall from the door handle that was already there and painted the whole ensuite, we have since sent an invoice and they refuse to pay we have also sent a invoice for cleaning and draining of the pool again, they refused to pay My husband does not want me to go to the tribunal because I have been having bad anxiety attacks that end with me in hospital I’ve tried to kill myself because of this situation and the stress Barry plant Norwood have been no help to us whatsoever will not even try and understand or just accepting what the owner wants There words exactly to me about this whole situation even after I have provided to them I’m right and correct : We have followed instructions, that’s our job. Please be careful who and what company you rent though

Negative experience: I wish there's minus star for a review. We got the same experience like Selina. If you are tenant be very careful with this agent! They are real crook and bullied us! Talked very rude on the phone told us to pay cleaning cost with no break down. The property manager also tried to made us paid damage that we didn't even make!! To whoever wrote reply to my review, Regarding what you wrote about try to contact us for communication, the only thing you contact us was for delete my review!! How funny. Review is a review is my opinion. Did we ever mention that we don't want to pay for cleaning fee? No! What we wanted was the break down of the cleaning cost because it's ridiculous!! Your PM yelled on th phone that we HAVE TO pay without any breakdown. After we emailed you that we discussed with CBS that it's our right to know than you gave the breakdown. From breakdown it showed you charged some cleaning that even in your exit report said it's cleaned!!! Did we pay you what we supposed to pay for the cleaning fee? YES! Am I happy with your service? NO!

Negative experience: These agents are so low. We rent from them. Had it professionally cleaned. Now they sent me final bill for cleaning fir $1050, while it was not even clean when we first moved in. During our stay there, they constantly harrass us, taking us to sacat twice with unfavourable results to them. The never showed up on time for inspections, always had to reschedule. Never repair anything on first request. The house had a filter, which they refused to have it service! They just try to please the owners at the costs of tenants. Dont rent from them!!!! Below are the photos of the property when we left and before they charged me another $1050 for professional cleaning! Crooks!

Negative experience: As a home owner and previous client of Barry Plant RE, I implore all who consider this company to avoid letting their homes to them for management. They do the absolute bare minimum on ingoings and outgoings. Damage to the home was consistently not reported to me, issues with tennants went ignored, they lied about small issues and refused to acknowledge their role in larger ones. Homeowners and tenants avoid at all costs.
