He provided me with professional and thoughtful support along with solid advice about the sale process. Negative experience: Blackmailed to remove negative review. After posting the review the renter applied for further rentals (in Qld) Janine Howard lied and gave negative feedback to the other real estate agents. When confronted about the lies, she demanded this review be deleted or she would continue lying and they would never get a house. I don't know if Janine Howard still works there, however they hired this disgusting tyrant and continued to employ her for years. As such I would never recommend this estate agency. ORIGINAL REVIEW ------------ (edited shorter due to word limit) "Janine HOWARD is the rudest most condescending person I have ever met. Janine HOWARD is a rental property manager. Janine HOWARD is overtly aggressive and dismissive. I attempted to speak with Janine HOWARD today in relation to cleanliness after renting a property. The issues with the property she had were as follows: *Kitchen window clean inside and out *Clean fronts of cupboards *Put oven trays back in *clean exhaust fan *clean shower glass *clean window in garage. I know what you're thinking, they are not big tasks, however the house was initially rented in a state which could only be described as horrific. During the walk through when moving in, it was verbally noted by the real estate, how dirty it was. It looked as if the previous occupant did not clean a thing after moving out. To give you a quick example; there was urine around the toilet. Dead bugs and dirt in every window track. 2 foot long cobwebs. Black mold and damaged walls. All of the above mentioned issues and 50+ more were photographed and handed in along with the condition report. Today 5/3/19, I attended the office and spoke to Janine HOWARD. I was holding the pictures from the initial inspection which were handed in with the initial inspection report. Janine Howard handed me the keys and said "There you go". I asked if I could have a moment of her time which she declined stating "I'm too busy, If you wanted to speak to me you should have made an appointment, thanks" and handed me the keys again. I said that;s all right, ill make an appointment now". She said she was busy all day. I said how about tomorrow then? she said she was busy then also. Again she handed me the keys. I stated I wanted to speak about the condition of the house and show her some pictures prior to taking the keys. She replied with a smirk " I can already see what you want to show me and it doesn't matter the house needs to be cleaned, but ok then show me what you want to show me. I stated as per your list the oven trays need to be put back in the oven (The oven trays were left out as to show how clean the oven was in comparison to when they moved in). Janine HOWARD replied "Well they were in the oven when they moved in so it has to be returned that way." I told her if the house should be returned the way it was then they should not have to clean any of the above mentioned items as the photo's show the state they were in when moved in". She replied "Well it wasn't *written* on the condition report, so it has to be cleaned." I told her the photos were attached and handed in on the condition report. She replied "Well its bad luck, you should have written it down". She said this aggressively whilst smirking." I asked why she was speaking to me with such animosity, she did her smirking smile and said "I'm not" at this time she stated "I don't need to hear anything else, I need to know what you are going to do, are you going to clean it or not?" I told her I'm trying to explain and show her that the items had already been cleaned in comparison to when they moved in. She replied "yes or no". I said no, Ill be making a submission with the tribunal to receive the bond money back. Janine Howard had already walked down the hall away from me when she turned around and stated "Would you like the contact numbers?" I said no thanks I already have them.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had the pleasure of working with Terry and Josh at Professionals Wodonga for the second time and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They are professional, honest, and their entire team are a pleasure to deal with. Negative experience: The worst real estate I have ever dealt with the property manager going through my belongings trying to bargain end of lease cleaning which was professionally cleaned constantl harassing emails horrible person to deal with in general very incompetent and rude will never ever deal with this real estate ever again I do not recommend take ur business elsewhere where you will get competent and professional service as this real estate lacks everything and especially experience also needs to learn some courtesy and respect customer service skills are non existent rather sad a real estate employs incompetent staff

It wasn't long before I realised that Terry listened to my every detail and understood my situation which was very complicated. Terry came up with a well thought out plan where he would use his database to sell 'off the market' within a given time-frame. He achieved an excellent outcome based on me being interstate at the time and sold my home within the specified period. The sale went very smoothly with no stress and was hassle free. Fantastic experience: Terrific knowledge. Terry and his crew were so good. We had a few inspections first up, then a couple looked and loved it, but couldn’t come up on price. Another couple put in a bid, we accept. They then couldn’t get their finance, Terry rang the original couple straight away, bid in, accepted, inspections, and SOLD…. Throughout the whole experience, Terry was so helpful, knowledgeable, available when we needed something, which is so good, as a lot of different things come up sometimes. Overall, a wonderful experience with Terry Hill.

Negative experience: We required a rental in NE Victoria (for family/work reasons) and owned a home in Northern NSW. As home owners the experience with renting through Professionals Wodonga was extremely disappointing & stressful. They deducted an invoice from our rent payment (illegal) with the reasoning "people pay their rent but not their bills so if we take it from their rent they fix it up sooner rather than later". Pressure to pay for professional cleaning so "you get your full bond refunded" Overall I would NOT recommend renting a property with this agent.

Fantastic experience: From the first phone call Terry was great to deal with. Although Terry was working for the vendor, I felt he was honest and upfront and didn't play games, just telling it as it was. Terry always responded promptly to any questions we had and had a thorough knowledge of the property he was selling. As a buyer I think you get a real sense of the agent and I always think "would I want this person to sell my house" and if the answer is yes, which it was for Terry, then they're a really good agent.

Negative experience: Applied for a rental property. Had Christina call to only be very rude and demeaning towards my partner and I. This would not be a realestate I would use to rent or buy in the future. I would not want Christina to be my property manager with that attitude.

Fantastic experience: We have rented a property managed by Janine Howard for 4.5 years. I don't know Janine personally, but I have found her communication and attention to detail very good. When we missed a rent payment she was quick to check with us so we could rectify it, otherwise we would have been in arrears, so this was very helpful. Whenever we have had an issue/maintenance with the home she had it attended to quickly and we recently found out that we have to vacate the home as the owners are moving back into the home. She handled this (stressful) situation with us in a tremendous manner and has been compassionate during this process. I will happily rent a property from Janine in the future. If you are good tenants, property managers will do the best they can by you I believe.
