Negative experience: Bad experience - just see how this agency replies to bad reviews. It says a lot about their incompetence to take responsibility.

Fantastic experience: Muno was my agent. Great communication skills and not price driven. (Not compared to the local agents) Made sure that we made the right decision for our pricing structure due to the current market situation and spent plenty of time with open houses and making sure we’re getting bang for our buck. Would highly recommend Muno as an agent……he doesn’t sell on price!

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. We followed the agent’s advice to commit to an expensive marketing campaign and relied on her guidance around pricing and strategy, yet over five months there were only two inspections and one conditional offer that placed all the risk on us. Despite repeatedly raising concerns about the lack of buyer interest, very little changed throughout the campaign. There was also limited transparency about what marketing was actually being done, including social media promotion that had been discussed. After withdrawing the property from sale during a period of hospitalisation and serious health issues, we were met with relentless payment demands and very little empathy or understanding. Following this review, I also received emails referencing possible legal action and a public response unless the review was removed, which I found intimidating and unnecessary. Based on the conduct, lack of communication, and poor results compared to the online enquiry levels, I would not recommend this agency.

Fantastic experience: A pleasant buying experience . After looking at quite a few houses, we found Kaeren to be the easiest to deal with out of all the agents. Her no-push approach but professionalism stood out. Being new to the area, Kaeren’s knowledge and advise was extremely helpful.

Negative experience: I rented with TCR, they rented me a property knowing it flooded regularly. When we ended the lease due to it being inhabitable we were charged $88 for a handy man to put the TV back onto the wall which is fine (the apartment was semi furnished). But, the apartment is re-rented without the change… so this realestate pocketed the $88 and never refunded the money. We also asked the landlord if he would like the couch and tv unit he said yes. The unit looks a lot nicer with our furniture but it is absolutely outrageous that we were charged close to $100 and the realestate pocketed that money… see pictures for before and after

Fantastic experience: Michael was excellent. Michael obtained a good price for our house and was extremely helpful and understanding of our needs. His communication was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Michael for any person who needs a trustworthy and great communicator to sell their house.

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT USE THEM TO RENT YOUR PROPERTY. Kaeren Smith if we could give you less than 1 star, we would! This Tweed Coolangatta real estate agent is terrible. They have illegally blacklisted us. Illegally/ Without cause. And as a result, they are being investigated by fair trading. You will notice only good reviews exist from those who have no review history (possibly made up accounts) and those who have sold houses. In a housing sale boom. Like any agent could have for the last 20 years. Wow - great work - for Kaeren - you are minimally qualified, uneducated and unethical. - The Sweets.

Negative experience: Do not use this tweed heads real estate agent. They do not know how to manage a property and they allowed such disrepair to the property we were renting from them that we lost a lot of personal possessions and business equipment, to the extent that we were able to claim damages through NCAT - a poor experience for the both the owner and the renter. The only winners here are this property management company. They also illegally listed us on TICA. This is a rental blacklist and these actions represent a complete abuse of the power differential between renters and property managers. They are currently being investigated by fair trading. Do not deal with these people. If you also have problems with them seek advice from the tenants union and call fair trading. - The Sweets

Fantastic experience: Quick͏ sale in a cooling market TCR managed my property as a rental then its sale. In both instances they acted very professionally. They sought good tenants and ensured the property was maintained and kept me appraised of maintenance required in a timely manner. The sale was carried out very well, with excellent online marketing and regular personal inspections. I received regular updates of online interest and personal visits, receiving professional advice on several offers that I received. The property was sold at slightly above its appraised value and I am happy with the negotiated price. I will be approaching TCR when looking for my next property.

Fantastic experience: Efficient! Kaeren͏ Smith was the agent for my purchase & later sale of a Tweed Heads property. As it was leased, she had to arrange all inspections after conferring with the occupant. This was neither a straightforward operation for her at either event. When purchasing, she described the potentials of the property for me in detail - balcony use, privacy with shutters, the view, the fact that the view would not be built out, & so on. The later sale took a few weeks, as one buyer dropped out after a time, however another buyer was found soon after & the sale proceeded. I am very pleased with the service provided & would return to TCR Real Estate if I was again interested in buying. I believe Michael Smith also contacted a potential buyer from the list of inspections. A true family business!

Fantastic experience: Over a decade ago Michael Smith was the selling agent for a property I bought. First impressions count and because of this I asked Michael to be my selling agent for the same property which I have just sold. Both experiences (both as a buyer and a seller) have been great and this is due to Michael's proficiency as an agent. He knows the markets, does not pressure for sales, and is a genuinely honest and nice man. I wouldn't hesitate in using Michael again.

We have always been very pleased with the tenants she carefully selected and the way she was onto maintenance issues in a timely manner. The cost of maintenance was always reasonable and the property looked clean and well looked after when we inspected it. In February we put the property on the market to sell, and though it was still under a tenancy agreement Kaeren found the right buyer at the right price. We are pleased with the outcome and thank Kaeren and the TCR team for their professionalism throughout our long association. Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend the Property Rental Team at TCR. I was advised that my long standing tenants at my Banora Point property were leaving at the end of May. As I live in the UK I have to totally rely on the professionalism of the TCR Team. I was advised on a regular basis via email on the refurbishment of the property and the selection of a new tenant. The Team did a thorough Exit Inspection, oversaw the refurbishment of the property and recommended various updates to attract new tenants. They advertised the property and had numerous applicants within days. They vetted and selected their top six recommendations as being possible new tenants, but gave me the opportunity to have the final say. A new family were chosen and moved in mid June. All of this was done in a three week period and I cannot thank Kaeren and Krystal enough for their endeavours on my behalf. I know my property is in their capable hands and I would have no hesitation in highly recommending them as a competent and professional Team to manage rental properties.
