Fantastic experience: Sue and the team at max brown Montrose are all incredible. Sue sold me my first home 15 years ago and has since had helped my family purchase an investment and has also on sold 2 homes for me. She is delightful to work with, honest, reliable and hard working. She has gone over and above my expectations and is an integral part of the local community. Couldn’t recommend her or her team more.

Negative experience: Over 8 months of house hunting, Max Brown have taken the top spot as the most unprofessional and dishonest real estate agents we’ve encountered. They repeatedly misled us face to face about how they handle multiple offers and when offers would close. At times, they couldn’t even provide a clear or consistent answer. On three separate properties, we explicitly told them we were preparing offers more than $50k above the eventual sale price each time, they either closed offers earlier than stated or came up with vague excuses. This wasn’t a one off mistake. It was a clear pattern of poor communication at best, or deliberate deception at worst. Either way, it cost their vendors significantly lower sale prices. If you’re selling, you have to ask, why trust an agency that potentially leaves tens of thousands of dollars on the table? The vendors wouldn’t even know. And if you’re buying, expect confusion, inconsistency, and a complete lack of transparency. I'm so grateful I was able to purchase a property without the headaches of dealing with them again. Edit: This review is NOT posted in error, my name was not on the inspections. You can say this doesn’t reflect your values all you want, however, it's my real experience that I've never encountered another real estate agency as unprofessional throughout 100+ inspections and multiple offers.

Negative experience: Do not use , absolutely useless, had house for over 12 months , couldn't sell , had court orders giving her full control , cost alot of money giving her full control , she still couldn't organise, stay away if she can't sell in this situation what hope if she has to negotiate?

Negative experience: This agent named Jo is rude. Sellers be aware!!! A lot of potential buyers will walk away (myself included) because of her attitude. Very Unprofessional

Wendy and Sarah are lovely to deal with and have been very helpful with any issue or questions we have had. When repairs have been needed in our home they have balled quickly and have been of wonderful quality. Negative experience: Never had an issue with real estates until this one. Some of the staff certainly need to re-evaluate how they speak to their tenants. Definitely would not rent with Max Brown again as a tenant. Very disappointing experience.

Negative experience: Worst service ever takes for ever to get on top of things that need to get fixed etc when renting though them kept complaining about bad smells only cause the toilet was leaking and kept on saying will get someone over to fix it for like 2-2.5 yrs but didn’t happen till just before I moved out reckon such rude staff always putting the blame on me when if the leak in the toilet was fixed straightaway Then there wouldn’t of been a bad smell such rude staff never renting though them again. Best rent though someone else highly recommend Bell they get on top of problems/ issues like within a few Business Days (they’ve had no problems with me so far and Vice versa )

Negative experience: I m truly disgusted by the actions and ignorance of Max Brown a Croydon . I came home this evening to find an advertisement board in front of my lawn which I have spent so much effort to grow and maintain!!! All of this happened without even a courtesy of asking for my permission and when called and spoken to Mr Alan Holmes I was told that he and the team had no idea that the sign was installed and will have to wait until Monday before anything can be done about it as he has no direct contact to the company that installed it. To be honest I would think twice before conducting business with them. This action really shows that they have no regards or care towards anyone.
