Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Rebecca from KR Peters highly enough. She was always so kind, caring and supportive, and her communication throughout our tenancy was amazing. Rebecca genuinely cared about me and my family and always took the time to understand what we needed. She went above and beyond to help us and wanted to make sure we had a home that suited our family and our circumstances. She was incredibly understanding, approachable and compassionate, and I always felt comfortable reaching out to her. You could tell she genuinely cared about the people she was helping, which made such a difference. I’m honestly so sad to no longer have Rebecca as our real estate agent. I’m incredibly grateful for all of her support, kindness and care over the years. KR Peters are very lucky to have her, and any tenant would be lucky to have Rebecca looking after them. ❤️

Negative experience: Sadly I’ll have to leave a bad review after my interaction with Rebecca Nicolls today. I applied to a property after speaking with rental agent Kerryn. Rebecca did the open. Immediately we were met with a very hostile yucky attitude, Rebecca quite literally shouted at us after we said no we had not registered to inspect but as I’m trying to explain that we had been speaking with Kerryn and that we had actually already applied she’s getting louder and telling me off for interrupting her.. even though I was just answering the question I was asked and she was the one shouting and interrupting me.. I’m currently dealing with a very bad case of the flu and tonsillitis so it took a lot of energy to even get out today and I am just very disheartened by this situation. We were looking forward to this property as the pictures online looked pretty good! (Rental property was in horrible condition and pictures were from years ago.) From what I can see a lot of people who work here share the last name Nicolls so there’s probably some loyalty there that allows Rebecca to feel comfortable verbally abusing people. And she obviously believes she’s got power as after I said “I don’t know how you get through life talking to people like that”, she responded with “I don’t know how you think you’ll ever get a property”. On another note, we reluctantly viewed the property after that interaction and it was a mess, structurally falling apart, and the tenant was sitting inside on a camp chair watching tv. Obviously already uncomfortable this added another whole level of weirdness. Edit: And thanks Peter Nicolls for giving me a ring and trying to talk about it but I understand from your position it’s all a little uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: I was a renter and had a great experience with Kerryn and the company as a whole. Communication was swift and professional, we were able to move into the apartment quickly after applying and never had any issues. Kerryn was helpful and professional. Phenomenal and I would highly recommend!

Knowing that everyone is well looked after has given me real peace of mind. I honestly wish I had found KR Peter earlier—LOL! Now I can finally sleep well tonight. All landlords and tenants: do not fall for franchise agencies that seem great at the initial welcome—once you sign the contract, you may just feel like a number. KR Peter stands out because they are professional, highly knowledgeable about tenancy rules, provide clear guidance to help both parties, and, most importantly, treat everyone with respect and as a person. Unfortunately, over a short five-month period, I had two previous agents, and both failed to meet expectations. They lacked tenancy experience, were not transparent, and focused only on managing properties as numbers and collecting management fees. Both my tenant and I were left feeling mistreated and stressed. Cheers!

Negative experience: Wow - I just have gotten the other side of Kerryn. She was awful to me as a property manager from the start. Unlike Crystal who was lovely! I would not recommend Kerryn to anyone at all. In reply to the comment from the owner. I had no issue paying for damage however Kerryn tried to take $1300 for damage that was repaired for $400 - she also continues to contact me via text even though my contract has ended with KR Peters. Leave me alone Kerryn!!!! I've reported your attempt at extortion to Consumer Affairs

Negative experience: Careful when purchasing land from this company. Once you show interest the property jumps up an extra $20,000. We still went ahead and purchased to find out at least three others in our estate got sucked in too. You find your dream location and they take advantage of you, totally no morals. Can't believe still in business......

Negative experience: Worst Real Estate Agent I have EVER dealt with, and I have dealt with a lot of agents in the past. They lack communication and customer service skills and make false promises and statements to you at the time of sale to win your business. Once they have won your business and you have signed the contract and paid a deposit, don't expect them to answer or return your calls. They only got one star from me as I had to select a star in order to post the review, personally they don't even earn one star in my mind. Find a more reputable agent for your most expensive asset.

Fantastic experience: They went above and beyond in helping us in a time we needed it most allways been reasonable and honestly would recommend them.. all the staff are more than helpful...

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT with KR Peters, Peter Nicolls, Dana Nicolls, or Lorraine Davies. My opinion is that you should not deal with them in any matter whatsoever because they absolutely no integrity in their dealings. They ended our rental lease for literally NO REASON. They admitted to this at VCAT, VCAT found that reasons stated in the notice to vacate was not valid and they still didn't even admit their true motives.Our rent was always on time (3 months in advance actually), tried to cause a minimum of fuss and never received any breach notices. No one is safe if they want to turn on you. They attempted to claim "cleaning" expenses from our bond, however we put a lot of effort into scrubbing that property from top to bottom and even hiring their preferred cleaners, and it still wasn't good enough for them! VCAT determined that we left the property in a "reasonably clean" condition but they were demanding it to be in "pristine condition" (which is not reasonable!!!). They said that the condition that they were demanding is what they expect from all their tenants. So they might have caught other tenants out in the past who have left things in reasonable condition but not up to their almost impossibly high pristine condition standard. If you are unlucky enough to already be dealing with them, it is only a matter of time until they could turn on you too so be extra careful with your documentation with them. Never trust their word. Record all conversations during meetings and inspections. I tried to document some outrageous things they said in person by confirming what they said in an email. They claimed at VCAT a completely different story to me and when I tried to use my email to them as evidence, I couldn't because their actual defence to that was that they ignored my email!!! Shockingly that defence was accepted. That's right, they are under no obligation to read your emails to them if you are trying to put something into writing! If you need something that they have said in writing don't merely write it in an email because they are allowed to ignore you, you have to put it in some kind of notice that they would be legally required to read (like BREACH NOTICE to Landlord if you are renting) as annoying as it is, but you got to look out for your own best interest when dealing with them, because you can't take anything with them for granted.

Negative experience: What a worst real estate company I have ever seen in my life. So much greed of money, no communication at all, a cheap&fraud company, surprisingly still existing where we live.

Negative experience: Disappointing lack of communication and concern for purchaser at settlement. Would not recommend this agency.
