Negative experience: This is quite possibly the worst real estate i have had the pleasure with dealing with. Put enquires in a month earlier for a rental and no response finally seen a open home went and seen it. Then i had to ring them to advise them i out in a application, just kept dragging it out. They do not ring anyone on your application, they do it all electronically. All u have to do if u want a rental through these guys is use AI, i would not be impressed if i owned a $5mill home on the rental market. I would like full contact with previous real estates and personal referee's. Not the way these guys do it, i talked to my real estates and referee's and they heard nothing from this real estate.

Negative experience: **Wholistic Properties / Pine City Properties I would not recommend this agency. We appointed Wholistic Properties to manage our newly built investment property, and it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. Throughout the tenancy, we were not given an accurate picture of what was happening at the property. We were told there had only been one police attendance, allegedly prompted by a "racist" neighbour. However, we later discovered there had been numerous police call-outs (around 10), ongoing noise complaints from neighbours, and repeated concerns about the tenants' behaviour. I have since seen text messages from a neighbour to our property manager, Sandra Olsen, reporting these issues, to which the response was simply that it was "a police matter." Since then, I have met this neighbour personally and felt the need to apologise for the disruption they endured because of these tenants, who are thankfully now vacating. After Sandra left the agency earlier this year, I emailed the office to raise concerns about issues within the property. It took 10 days to receive a response, with the explanation that my email had gone to their junk folder. Considering I had replied directly to their email and they had been corresponding with me at the same email address for almost three years, I found that explanation difficult to accept. As a result of the property's poor management, we are now facing significant repair costs after the tenants vacate. We have since appointed a new property manager, and the difference has been night and day. Surprisingly, when the management was transferred, there was no documentation in the property file outlining any of the ongoing issues that had occurred during the tenancy. Based on our experience, there was a clear lack of communication, transparency, and proactive property management. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this agency.

Negative experience: Stay away from this real estate Maintenance works will charge to you as well, after just 28 days response They dont care your emergency. They dont follow RTA Threaten to breach

Her communication has been outstanding from day one, and she's done an exceptional job managing our tenants and the property overall. Not only have we had a great experience working with her, but our tenants have also spoken very positively about her professionalism, responsiveness, and support. Fantastic experience: Cassie has been managing our family’s four rental properties for the past nine years, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her service. She is professional, friendly, and consistently reliable. Cassie kept us well informed with regular updates and handled every situation with competence and care. When we faced a challenging situation with a non-paying tenant, she guided us through the entire process — from issuing notices to coordinating with the police for eviction — and even supported us with the insurance claim for damages and loss of income. Thankfully, all our other tenancies have been smooth, and both we as landlords and our tenants have appreciated her proactive and attentive management. We’re truly grateful for her expertise and oversight in protecting and growing our investment.

Negative experience: The most BODGEY unprofessional real estate there is! Never buy sell or rent with them all they do is take money from people and not deliver on it. Mum and dad business that really is bottom of the barrel. And the staff are rude

Positive experience: I rented with Pine City for 1.5 years, good communication and support throughout my tenancy and really understood my situation at the end of my lease. :)

Positive experience: Don't bother with this realestate if cassie is the property manager, she is rude will breach for tiny things, refuse to allow you to rectify anything after bond and will take all your bond, she will add things to the bond that were there prior to moving in. Then when you try to have a conversation about these things she will cut you off, talk over you and change the subject of what you are trying to explain!!! Very sad someone like this is going to bring down a really good realestate down.

Negative experience: Terrible service, poor commitment to solving problems with the properties, and their ethics regarding the handling of payments are highly questionable.

Fantastic experience: This is the original general store and Post Office (see in photos) - James Carseldine opened the first shop opened in Bald Hills. In 1872 Cobb and Co coaches on the Brisbane to Gympie run began to stop here to pick up passengers and mail. In the first year the Bald Hills post office despatched 2822 items and received 1601. James was appointed the first local Postmaster and Newsagent, he received a salary of £12 per annum. In later years he also held the position of Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths for the district. The shop continued as a post office until the late 1930’s. James owned the shop until 1911 when it was sold to Alfred Stewart, to keep it in the family.

Negative experience: Cassie Jonassen was an absolute nightmare to work with, it is clear that she takes out her bad days on tenants in various ways. After renting a home for over two years with Pine City Properties, we regularly passed inspections with flying colours (they would even leave a note thanking us for upholding a high standard of cleanliness) and when given the opportunity the owner initially didn't increase our rent. Yet Cassie continued to do everything in her power to make our lives difficult, regularly bringing my partner to tears. Now she refuses to return our bond and is adding on whatever additional charges she can including things that were raised on the entry report. Luckily we just bought a home so we don't have to deal with someone like Cassie Jonassen ever again. If you are reading this for your own wellbeing choose a different property manager.

Negative experience: Agent Carrie Jonassen has refused to refund my bond after 12 years of tennancy claiming that they don’t believe that a bond was paid and after several emails showing proof she refused to reply to my emails, very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Deals all matters professionally and communicates well with the owners & renters. Further, provides valuable insights to legislation, do's, don'ts and keep owners posted of their rights due to changing circumstances. PCP is reasonably priced, provides services for the value for money and friendly staff promptly acts to address submitted concerns by parties, timely income statement, on time credits...etc I highly recommend for existing/new owners to give them a chance, to get surprised, instead of burning holes in their pockets elsewhere.

Negative experience: The ability to build local relationships tells alot about the business and the people working in it - entitled owner included. How you handle selling challenges shows one's character... Humble and responsive are definitely NOT here - as this is the epitome of any 'typical' disagreeable real estate hack. Your 1st 5 minutes will expose the story, go with that gut feeling people... and remember, I told you so.

Negative experience: If you want them to illegally enter your home then Pine City Properties is the place for you, if you want to deal with women who act like teenage girls then Pine City Properties is for you! I have had the worst experience with this sad excuse for property managers, lived there for 2 years, after living there for a year, they jacked the rent up $90 so I requested items be fixed before I pay extra rent, that was a hassle on it’s own, they ignored my requests or just have 0 communication skills (cassie is the person with no communication skills). They claimed issues were not issues like the front gate not working that took about 4 weeks for something to be done as Sharon wouldn’t believe me. They had these heavy as heck curtains that were installed bad and they began to fall off, again asked for something to be done to which Cassie again closed my issue without contacting me, it was at a point where if it fell on our tv or animals that it would break/hurt bad. So I had to say “I’m going to supply you with the tax invoice for a new tv when the curtains fall and break it” then Cassie had an emotional reacting claiming I am being mean (haha). But the best part is the illegal entry they did into my house, they handed the keys out to a tradie and allowed him to enter my house without any entry notice, I got home (a small woman) to see a man in my house. Once I contacted Pine City Properties, Cassie ignored my message and Sharon claimed that I was acting “hard done by” due to this issue, then they tried to make me pay for that invoice!!!! What an absolute joke. I have always consulted the RTA when dealing with property managers and Cassie and Sharon need to be re-educated in the RTA and stop trying to rip off tenants. I have had to be in contact with the RTA and QCAT and I will be taking Cassie as far as I can with QCAT I’m appalled and embarrassed and I do not take kindly to being treated the way I have been. Not to mention they kicked us out as the “owner doesn’t want to resign lease” but jacked the rent up another $120. If you’re a tenant and you’re looking at a pine city properties house, DO NOT RENT IT

Negative experience: As you can see in all the other reviews, their focus is the landlord not the tenant. They will do everything in the interest of their customers, the landlords. So be aware if you are going to rent one of their properties. I have lived in one of their properties for 4 years, never missed a single rent, always maintained the property well. They made several inspections throughout the years without any complain. Now, when I'm leaving, they want me to make the house new again, ignoring wear and tear. They have completely unrealistic expectations of the state the house should be returned. Be prepared to be charged $$$$$ when leaving one of their houses.

Fantastic experience: We used to rent under Campbell's Realty and had to move due to the owner selling up which we understood but we were disappointed because we loved and miss Campbell's Realty. Look I have personally dealt with a lot of rude, greedy and lazy real estates in the past and I thought it was just normal and to be expected when renting. However since Campbell's Realty it's actually upped our expectations in the future because they were so lovely, nice and caring. Fantastic experience: Campbells have given me great service. I think a massive part of this is that we still have the same staff looking after us now that were looking after us two years ago when they took over our property. They have a great relationship with my tenants and myself. They know my property and all the details of it. I am very happy with them, I can't say that for the other agent in the area that looked after my property previously. They have my whole hearted recommendation as a happy customer, don't delay, get in touch and get them to look after your property.
