Communication was always quick and easy, and any property or maintenance enquiries were followed up fast without me needing to chase things up, which I really appreciated. What stood out most to me was the kindness and respect I was shown during my tenancy. I always felt like I was treated as a person, not just a tenant, and that makes a big difference. As both a tenant and a property owner myself, I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Stacey Lee Realty again in the future, either to manage a property for me or to rent through. Fantastic experience: My partner rented a unit with Stacey for approximately 7 years. When I moved with him I became part of the rental agreement for a few years as well. Anytime we had any issues with the property we were renting, Stacey and her team would be extremely helpful and fast to respond to our requests. More recently we manage to buy our first property and had to break the lease. Once again the Stacey’s team was amazing. Fantastic experience: I would recommend Stacey Lee Realty. A short time ago I sold a house by open listing. (not sure if that is the best way to go in this day and age) While Stacey Lee Realty were not the successful selling agent, they seemed knoweledgable and I found them pleasant people to deal with. Warning ! I did get sale price estimates from many other local agents and the estimates ranged from 35% below the final sale price to 11% above. Being a small-time property developer from many years ago, I was shocked by the enormous variations and of the lack of knowledge of the local real estate market by some local agents. I would certainly recommend Stacey Lee Realty.

Negative experience: Move in and discover there is no way to lock the property. Pay $500 for alock smith to fix things because we have to leave town for a pre-booked trip and the real estate can't get anyone to sort out the bag of 17 disorganised keys until a week after we'd be back. Two months later still waiting on a reply whether we'd be reimbursed, let alone actually getting reimbursed. Juggle our day so we can accommodate the owner wanting to visit the property because he hadn't seen it in 4 years. Noted that he was frustrated at the Real Estate agency because the deck was in disrepair... before we moved this was something they'd told us he'd had cared for every year... total fiction. Clearly it hadn't been oiled for 3-5 years. On that day in early August the owner noted that we had no door handle on the main bathroom downstairs. We're a family so we can cope with yelling out "I'm in the loo" a few times, but here we are 5 weeks later and no end in sight. I took the time to catalog what issues (there are more) were left unaddressed and instead of taking corrective measures Stacey herself got on the phone to tell me my effort to get progress was offensive and rude. We're in a contract with a long time left to run. Oh dear.

With Stacey Lee, we know it has been in great hands - the service has been second to none, the property has looked awesome on the rare occasions we have visited. But the big thing for us is that Stacey Lee is not just a service provider, they are a partnership. You get to know them well, and they get to know you. Very important, and it makes you feel like they always have your best interests at heart. We have another property in Canberra - we wish the service provided there was the same as Stacey Lee. Negative experience: Myself and my partner had the unfortunate experience of renting from this office for a property in Morningside. At first the office seemed like they went above and beyond for their tenants and were responsive whilst they checked paperwork but the service pretty much stops as soon as you move in. Whilst at the property we remained good tenants and paid rent on time and never caused any problems for the agency, after renewing for another year we had asked that an issue with fencing to be addressed as our pet was able to escape onto the street. The manager Kristal Kearney was highly rude and did not show any care or concern towards the safety of our pet and at one point in the conversation told us it wasn't her concern our pet kept on escaping. Long story short the situation was not resolved as they deemed the broken fence suitable. We also asked for adjustments to the property; even going so far as to pay money towards these requests. The agency actioned a work order for the wrong item and still demanded we pay for the incorrect item - Thankfully to make up for this charge we were able to leave them to pay for a service fee which they continued to try and bill after they paid our bond back. The only saving grace is that their receptionist (Roberta I think her name is) is excellent at her job, whilst the rest of the office is incompetent. Stay away from them if you can help it ** Thanks for the feedback Stacey Lee - One thing to note regarding our neighbour who complained; At the start of our tenancy she appeared kind and a normal person, we loaned her money numerous time but it turned out she was unemployed and continued to buy alcohol with our money. We stopped providing her loans and enabling this behaviour and tried to recoup the money but she wouldn't return it. This is when she actually became highly rude and aggressive. So to hear that feedback from you is surprising

The staff are generally prompt, proactive, friendly and knowledgeable, particularly Kristal who is very responsive and professional in managing my property, often go above and beyond her call of duty.

Negative experience: They replaced a dishwasher in a rental and the service person put the old dishwasher is the recycle bin on site of the units. When body Corporate asked to have it removed, they said they would do it straight away but it is still there Saturday and they are now closed and cannot be contacted. Not happy with STACEY LEE Realty

Fantastic experience: Very happy with this property manager that I've used/worked with for about 5 years. I've had quite a few property managers over the years and Stacey Lee and Kristal have been the best. They're old school, hands-on and down-to-earth, yet professional and up to date with legislation. Kristal recently made an early exit of a tenant a calm and amicable departure, to her credit. Their cleaners, painters, etc, did great jobs at very reasonable prices. Their accounts have always been spot-on, fortnightly. I confess that I didn't like that they moved from my suburb but that proved not to be an issue because they have a key safe with combo to give tradies access and everyone searches and does house-hunting/moving online these days. I've never recommended an agency before and have no affiliation with this business except as a client - and I do recommend Kristal and the team at Stacey Lee. Their office is now in Manly but who cares?! It's in Brisbane, that's all that matters!

Negative experience: Worst agency ever I meat. Do not recommend them at all. Had a bad experience with them,especially how they treat tenants. After more then 1 year ,we still receiving emails, and notifications about the coming up inspection.

Negative experience: Worst real estate company I have ever delt with. We received an email 2 weeks ago stating they were very happy with our bond clean and they had lodged our bond. I rang the RTA who informed me they had not lodged it. I then rang Stacey lee realty and the manager “apologised” and stated she would lodge it immediately and send a confirmation email which she did not. Now they are not replying to my emails.

Negative experience: Tenant review. Nice enough people, but never fixed any of the issues associated with the house, even though some of them were serious safety issues (electrical, flooring, termites, broken stairs). We lived without a window for 3 months! Just a sheet of black plastic over it, how is that a 'repair'? The house was a shambles when we moved in, we left it cleaner than when we arrived yet they still deducted from bond for cleaning. This is particularly insulting since the house is due to be demolished. Tenants beware.

Fantastic experience: Great agency. Very fair. Considers tenants as customers as well which as a tenant and a landlord, I very much appreciate. Very pleased with them as property managers so far, and if we didn't self manage my partners investment property, I would have no hesitation in putting my confidence in them to manage it.
