Fantastic experience: I've had very great experience with leasing team at LJHooker Lane cove. The application for a rental property required the most and vast amount of informations and proofs I had to put compared to other real estate agency from my experience. It was very tough on tenant for preparing all the paperworks but it would be very good for landlord as they are extremely strict and thorough with selection of a tenant. During the inspection, they did few things extra to ease observation of the place for viewers and I was very impressed as I never saw it at any other open inspections. After I've got offered a rental property, they process everything superfast and all my inquiries are answered promptly. Jessica in leasing team has been amazing during the leasing process. I am really appreciated with her kindness and help along with my new place. Thank you Jess. If I buy any property in the future, I will definitely ask them to manage it as they are the most thorough and strict real estate ageny that I met. They are very different in a good way.

Negative experience: Lisa whitaker extremely rude, lacks empathy and has very little understanding of how pest infestation works. I was a resident in Gordon Crescent and while I kept everything clean, i left a few cockroach traps around the house. During inspection she came in and blamed that the apartment was not clean which was a lie. Long story short, I wrote about this on their google review page. Next moment my tenancy was terminated. People lack ethics here.

Fantastic experience: I have a long history with Stewart from LJHooker Lane Cove. We bought our first investment property from him. I was new to it and he made sure I felt safe and comfortable with the process. Then his agency managed this property for the better part of eight years. Doing once again a great job. Over the years, Stewart was always happy to talk to me about what’s happening in the market. So when it came to selling, LJ Hooker was the only choice. I loved how ethical they were throughout the process with realistic pricing expectations and how they managed both our and the buyer’s expectations. We achieved a great price at auction and we’re really happy with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: I cannot express high enough praise for Stewart , Yvette , Mary and all the team who without their dedication and practical skills , kindness and respect , I couldn’t have accomplished the difficult task of cleaning out my elderly mothers house , attending to a mountain of maintainance and cleaning tasks to make the house immaculate for the rental market. The team then managed the property brilliantly for a few years until the decision to sell the property by auction. Once again the team went through with a fine tooth comb dealing with minute details and employing a stylist for beautiful presentation for the Auction market . Any maintance issues were quickly and easily resolved and all members of the team past and present were a pleasure to deal with. It's always nice to have a good relationship with a managing agent whether this is from the perspective of a tenant or landlord, of which we have experience on both sides.

Positive experience: We've been renting with LJH since mid-January. In early March we started hearing loud pipe noises late in the evenings above our unit, which woke up myself and my wife. We reported this to LJH. In early April we still had the problem, and emailed LJH numerous recordings of the loud noises. LJH forwarded this to strata, and then did no followup until I called them 10 days later. A few days ago I called LJH. They said they are doing everything possible, understand that it's frustrating, etc etc. I've spent 2 months sleeping with earplugs and having my sleep routine broken. I wonder if there'll be any change in the next 2 months. I'm giving them 2 stars because they quickly to respond to emails and return phone calls, even if the problem remains unsolved. Edit: Stewart from LJH reached out and personally enquired with one of the tenants that might be causing the issue. The duration of the noise is much reduced, and I am optimistic that it will be resolved soon. I've also found LJH responsive with recent maintenance, which restored my confidence with them.

Fantastic experience: My experience with LJ Hooker Lane Cove has been great. They managed my investment property for over 6 years and then recently sold that property. We knew it was a challenging market to sell in but Stewart, Danny and the team pulled out all stops and ended up exchanging 2 days before the scheduled auction for a price we were happy with given the current market. Fantastic experience: I rented through them for 3 years. And as a tenant you don't realise you have a good agent until you get one that's atrocious to deal with. They were always on top of repairs, inspections were given timely notice and normally around the same time each year(and after doing a couple would generally drop inspections to once a year if you were good and reliable.) Couldn't recommend them enough from a tenant perspective.
