Select Property Sydney

Fantastic experience: After a thorough evaluation of agencies to manage our investment property, we chose Select and have never regretted it. Jane, Nessie and Scott have been consistently reliable, proactive and excellent communicators. A special mention to Nessie, who went above and beyond to help us secure our new rental and made our transition from owner-occupier to tenant/investor seamless and stress-free. Their professionalism and responsiveness have been outstanding throughout, and we’d have no hesitation recommending Select to anyone looking for a dependable real estate team.

Fantastic experience: After dealing with some of the bigger real estate agencies over the years, I honestly didn't realise how much of a difference the right agency could make. I first purchased a property through Select Property and had such a positive experience that I later trusted them to manage my investment properties. From the very beginning, the team has been approachable, responsive and genuinely consistent in everything they do. It's refreshing to work with people who communicate well, follow through on what they say, and genuinely care about buyers, landlords and tenants. I couldn't be happier with my decision and highly recommend Select Property.

Fantastic experience: Easy and efficient service and communications . Excellent communication and kept me informed of any updates throughout the process. Lovely to talk to and very professional

Fantastic experience: Thank you for your help and assistance. Terrific people!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Quick seamless experience, communication was fast and efficient . Securing our new home was a simple seamless process with Select Property. Kate processed our application quickly and sent us clear, timely communication to finalise our bond, rental agreement and first payments. The digital experience to sign the paperwork was particularly smooth. And when we had questions Kate responded straight away giving us clarity. I’m also really grateful to Scott who completed a really thorough condition report before we moved in and has been really responsive getting quotes and tradesmen in to fix blinds, plumbing and lights. His efforts and efficiency has helped us settle into our new home quickly - thank you!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service . Scott and Kate represent what customer service used to be. Scott and Kate took the time to understand what goals I was trying to achieve and found solutions promptly. They took the time to assess and provide the best advice for any enquiry I was unsure of. Within a week, they found a suitable rental candidate that had been appropriately screened. My criteria was to find suitable tenants looking to make my investment a home, reasonable returns, and a property management agent that focuses on looking after my investment on my behalf. I believe I was lucky to find these guys. No hesitation providing my recommendation here.

Fantastic experience: Professionalism and personal service all the way. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great Experience all round. Working with Kate and the team at Select Property has been an exceptionally smooth experience. Their communication is clear, consistent, and approachable, making the entire process far more manageable. Their strong market knowledge was evident throughout, with honest and practical guidance at every stage. I was particularly impressed with their professionalism and the transparent, respectful way they engage with prospective leaseholders. Overall, they turned what can often be a stressful process into a seamless one. I’ve been highly impressed with their personal approach and would gladly work with them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: An accidental encounter that was such a great experience . I was viewing an apartment in Cammeray and didnt realise there was another one in the block also open for viewing at the same time. Kate was there and she kindly showed me and my friend round even though the viewing time was over. She was lovely, friendly, relateable, and has been really supportive throughout the whole process. Super impressed and such a nice welcome from the experiences I have had in the past few months.

Fantastic experience: Select properties are phenomenal. Exceptional customer and property management services. Particularly Scott, he is one of a kind. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Great Friendly service. Select Property team are professional with great communication and knowledge. Professionally they get the job done from advertising, communicating to strata for repairs to filling the rental property. We are very happy with how they take on all financials for us for tax time. Stress free service. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Kate is hands down the best agent I’ve encountered. She is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and clear in her communication. What truly sets her apart is her warmth and genuine care — she went above and beyond, offered reassurance when I needed it, and celebrated the success of my application with me. I am incredibly grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent who combines expertise with kindness.

Fantastic experience: Real service. Select took care of everything, nothing was too much trouble. Clear explanations of all the legal and other requirements with a full support team of trade specialists who are responsive and professional.

Fantastic experience: Professional, knowledgeable, and clear responsive communication. Jane Allen and her team have been managing my property for many years. I am happy with their service and it gives me peace of mind. They are experienced, knowledgeable and are prompt in their reponse when needed. They have been professional in handling matters, with clear communication. I would highly recommend them to manage your properties.

Fantastic experience: Select Property Group has been providing me with outstanding service and exceptional expertise in the real estate market. Their deep knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail give me complete confidence in every decision made for my properties.

Fantastic experience: Scott from Select Property is the best of my managing agents. As a landlord I have a number of investment properties - all with different managing agents. Select Property and their agent for my Lane Cove property Scott are by FAR the best. This includes the absolute best inspection reports I've ever seen and the agency has been incredibly helpful with various Strata matters and complex repairs as well. A far higher level of service than my other agents. I cannot recommend Select Property highly enough !

Negative experience: Really bad experience with this bunch, do yourself a favour and stay away! They are not what they seem

Fantastic experience: I had an outstanding experience with Selective Agents! From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. Jane, Ness, Kate, and Scott went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free — their communication was always clear, and they handled every detail with care and efficiency. It’s rare to find a property team that combines such warmth with true professionalism. Highly recommend Selective Agents if you’re after reliable, honest, and top-notch service!

Fantastic experience: Select Property provided an exceptional service — professional, reliable, and transparent throughout the entire process. Their market knowledge, clear communication, and attention to detail made everything smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Select Property to anyone looking for a trustworthy real estate agent.

Fantastic experience: Efficient, friendly and extremely helpful service from everyone. Select Property has been managing my investment property for several years. They are highly responsive, proactive, and focused on maximizing the return on property, while also being tenant-focused. We have re-leased the property twice in the time they have managed our property, and both times have sourced excellent tenants at the 1st open home. High attention to detail and supportive of the owner's needs and expectations. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A Great Experience . This was a great rental experience. The agent was very professional. I was in contact with Kate, who was very professional and showed me the property. The agency also has a Chinese-speaking agent, Georgette, who gave me a detailed introduction over the phone, helping me better understand the situation and sign the lease more quickly.

Fantastic experience: 5 Star!!!!! As a landlord, I’ve worked with several rental agents over the years, and Select Property is one I can confidently recommend. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency are truly superb. From managing the transition with my outgoing tenant to securing a new one, their communication was consistently clear, prompt, and courteous. They took the time to understand my specific needs and offered sound advice on setting the right rental price and preparing the property for viewings. Throughout the tenancy, Select Property remained proactive in addressing any issues and kept me regularly updated. It’s clear they are committed to building long-term relationships based on trust and reliability. A big thank-you to Georgette and Kate for their fantastic support and for making the whole process smooth and stress-free. Your help has been truly appreciated!

Fantastic experience: We used Kate from Select Property to lease our apartment in Willoughby. She assisted with organising repairs prior to leasing, helped with everything prior to listing and priced it well so it leased at the first open. She writes property adverts better than anyone I've ever seen. She even drove to the Northern Beaches to pick up an oven for me (unbeknownst to me), which she arranged directly with the contractor. Kate goes above and beyond every time and is an exceptional Property Manager. I highly recommend Select Property to get the job done quickly, efficiently and at a fair price for both landlord and tenant.

Fantastic experience: We've been working with Georgette for the past two years and couldn't be happier with the experience. She's an excellent communicator—always clear, responsive, and approachable. Georgette goes out of her way to help us make the best decisions for our property, offering thoughtful and reasonable advice without ever being pushy. She handles all the details with great care, giving us complete peace of mind knowing our property is in good hands. She often points out things we hadn't thought of, which shows her thoroughness and professionalism. It's been a smooth and pleasant partnership from the start, and we're truly grateful to have her as our property agent.

Fantastic experience: It was a real pleasure dealing with Georgette at Select Property — highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: The whole Select Property team, especially Scott and Kate provide a great service

Negative experience: Incredible amount of made up charges while withholding the deposit for the old property. Apparently all these charges weren't worth much when we started getting close to the small claims case. $4000 to settling for $1000.. yet still the nerve to ask for $500 months later..

Negative experience: We did not have a good experience with this company exiting our last tenancy. We were presented a bill for several thousand dollars of make good that we were not responsible for, and it was only when we were a few days away from NCAT that the thousands turned back into hundreds. They also tried to charge us back rent for our counter offered rent (they had rejected) to increase their NCAT claim against us after they had told us what our final payment was and sent us a zero balance final email. All this after being told we were model renters at our last inspection. Very dodgy experience.

Fantastic experience: Kate made the whole process a delight. You can tell she actually enjoys her job. She was proactive in helping us to get everything sorted and in order. We are very excited to move forward with Select agency.

Fantastic experience: experienced real estate agents. I found them to be knowledgeable, loyal, prompt and efficient. Also I must stress the fact that they are always very friendly and give attention to detail.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service and team! Scott from Select Property has been such an amazing help to our family in securing a rental property. He went above and beyond and make the process so easy.

Fantastic experience: Scott's proactive approach ensured that all necessary repairs and preparations were completed efficiently and to a high standard. His exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail made the transition seamless for the new tenant and stress-free for me. I highly recommend Scott for his professionalism and commitment to excellence in property management.

Fantastic experience: Unrooooool!!!! My whole experience with agents managing my investment property since about 20 years ago was really yuck and involved moving from agent to agent and being palmed off from the most senior person to get awful and incompetent service down the line and constantly wondering 'why am I paying them this money?'. Then one day I literally walked into Select Property Lane Cove out of pure exasperation and its been fantastic ever since. When Jane 'flicked' me to Agnes (Nessi) and Kate I thought "here we go, seen it all before". Boy was I wrong. If anything changed it was for the better. Great service value for money and lots of smiles and laughs along the way Can't recommend Jane, Nessi and Kate highly enough. The best eva!!

Fantastic experience: Caroline from Select Property has always delivered satisfactory and desired results since she became accountant manager of my rental property in Lane Cove. She’s professional and responsive. When it comes to the communication between landlord and tenant she takes proactive approach to assist both parties to reach agreement. I’m very happy with the service provided by Caroline and Select Property which has managed my rental property for nearly 8 years.

Fantastic experience: What a warm welcome! Kate was so helpful and welcoming from the get go, when it came to our new rental. She got all the documents and information to us as quickly as possible and was very open to any questions or concerns we had. Thank you Kate!

Fantastic experience: They are a fair agency and do their job properly. Their staff tells funny jokes and make the whole experience mellow.

Fantastic experience: Select Property is Excellent. Select Property has been managing our investment property in St Leonards for many years. Recently the tenancy came up for renewal. As our current tenants were not willing to pay the updated market rate of rent, Select Tenancy was able to successfully find a new tenant at an increased rent in order to bring the unit up to market rate. We had a gap of just over one week between tenants, which was fine given the increased rent we achieved thanks to Select Property.

Fantastic experience: We have rented our properties through Select for several years. Their property management team is efficient and approachable, always willing to help and provide the best service to us. I highly recommend the team.

Fantastic experience: Top service from Select Property . Jane and her team have been by our side for what seems to be forever. Great property managers, knowledgeable and professional at all times. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: It’s very rare for tenant to have an enjoyable experience when dealing with a property manger but I’ve had the pleasure of tenanting a property managed by for Nessie Allen. She has been nothing short of fantastic. Nessie consistently kept me updated and informed throughout my lease, she showed a genuine care for the property and myself. Nessie and her team at select property are absolute superstars. From the leasing process to tenancy I could not recommend a better property management team.

Fantastic experience: Professional And easy to deal with. From the open day to moving in, every interaction with Kate has been an absolute breeze. Very helpful and excellent communication. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Scott and team have been wonderful. They found a new tenant in record time when my old tenant vacated and the transition has been seamless.

Fantastic experience: Fast and swift in handling property management . My property is due to be leased , agent was able to secure and found a suitable tenant in 3 days with communication for prompt action. Great job and well done.

Positive experience: The staff were all friendly, helpful and willing to do tasks I had run out of time to do myself, for a successful rental property. It is my first time using a managing agent and the Select ladies have really been professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: Responsive and reliable. Select have looked after my rental property for 2years. Recently we had tenants move out. Select have managed the advertising and incoming selection swiftly and to a good result. Well done and thx to Jane, Kate, Scott and team.

Fantastic experience: Georgette Siew has been a pleasure to work with, Great service and quickly helped me solve any issues

Fantastic experience: Georgette (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ staff member right there) handled our emergency water leak situation so fast I can hardly believe it was sorted the same day. She asked for images and videos and I was included in all communications to the strata company and plumbing company. Could not be happier and more impressed at Georgette’s fantastic efforts

She made the entire process smooth and stress-free with her professionalism and efficiency. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a seamless property experience!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional . As tenants, Kate helped us rent our current property, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. She’s very friendly, professional, and great with communication. She’s always quick to respond to emails and we have only positive things to say. Thank you Kate, and now Scott, who is also lovely and a pleasure to deal with. We feel very lucky.

Fantastic experience: I have been extremely satisfied with the services provided by Select Property Sydney, who managed my one-bedroom apartment in St Leonards. Throughout this period, Georgette and Jane have demonstrated exceptional professionalism and responsiveness, making the experience seamless and stress-free. From the very beginning, their communication was thorough and prompt. They always responded quickly to any issues that arose with the property or the tenant. Whether it was managing council, water, and strata invoices or ensuring that all maintenance needs were met, they handled everything with great efficiency. Their service is truly commendable, offering excellent quality and great value. Fantastic experience: Truly professional and friendly team at Select Property. An independent real estate that understands the buyers' requirements and goes above and beyond to meet client needs and exceed expectations. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: First Class Agent. It’s not a great time to be a Tenant in NSW, so when you find an Agent who clearly genuinely looking for the best fit of Tenant and Landlord, it’s time to recognise that Agent. So Kate, thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Couldn't be happier with Kate! From the moment I stepped foot in the door to inspect this property, Kate has been nothing short of exceptional. She strikes a rare balance between professionalism and friendliness, making the sometimes fraught process of securing a property an absolute breeze. Her communication is clear, concise, and timely, and she makes genuine efforts to go above and beyond. Looking forward to our tenancy!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic team at Select Property. From the beginning of our rental application process, the team at Select (Kate and Scott) have been incredibly helpful and prompt with their communication. Going above and beyond in the viewing process, application phase right through to signing our lease. They made the process easy and transparent all throughout. Relocating from Melbourne to Sydney is stressful as it is, but the team at Select made sure the rental application process was stress-free! Thank you so much for making our dream became a reality!

Fantastic experience: Great people to deal with! Super friendly and helpful while we were moving into our new place

Fantastic experience: Dealing with Select Property to find accommodation has been an absolute pleasure. The entire process from applying to signing the agreement was done in no time at all. Caroline has been a top notch, helping us secure our dream rental. Couldn't recommend Caroline and the team enough! The full five stars from me to the whole team!

Fantastic experience: Nessie and the team are great! With a short notice period, the team were able to allow access for us as a new tenant within 2 days of the previous tenant moving out. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: As a tenant in a property managed by Georgette and the Select team, we were very impressed with the professional approach and friendly personal engagement throughout the term. Consideration and the willingness to go that extra step to be helpful made for a happy tenant and landlord. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Lloyd Allen of Select Property Lane Cove for the selling of your next property. His knowledge of the Lane Cove area and the market made for a relatively quick sale of my unit with little drama. Being an independent agency made for a more personable approach which I definitely appreciated and why I chose Lloyd over the big corporate agencies. His friendly, good natured approach always put any concerns I had at ease.

Positive experience: These guys did a great job. very friendly, efficient and responsive staff.

Fantastic experience: Caroline has been a top notch property manager for us. We’ve been with Select Property for 2 years and Caroline became our property manager for the past year. She’s responsive and genuinely cares about the tenants. We started hearing mice in our walls and I emailed Caroline and the pest control company was in touch me with the next day. We are now (fingers crossed) mice free!!! Caroline was also empathetic and professional during our lease renewal conversations. She helped us understand the market and why a rent increase was required. I felt she was fair and represented both sides well in working towards something that was right for both parties. Thank you Caroline!

Fantastic experience: Caroline has consistently been exceptionally helpful, responding promptly to inquiries. On multiple occasions, when challenges arose, she adeptly found timely solutions. One notable instance was when the local school requested a 6-month lease, and my existing lease had only 5 months left. Caroline, along with her colleague at Select Property, effectively served as a bridge, fostering a positive and cooperative relationship between tenants and landlords.

Fantastic experience: My investment property is well looked after by Caroline and the team. Very prompt at replying to anything that is needed.

Fantastic experience: Caroline has managed a number of our properties and we have always found her to be professional and prompt with everything she does. She has an excellent knowledge of the market as well as all the relevant legislation. Cannot recommend her highly enough .

Fantastic experience: Caroline has unparalleled attention to detail and a proactive approach, helping us secure our dream rentals over the years and promptly addressing any of our concerns. Couldn't recommend Caroline and the team enough!

Fantastic experience: Really excellent service, spoke with multiple members of the team over the course of renting and they were all always prompt and very friendly.

Negative experience: As a leasing tenant, my expectation is that the properties I am renting are functional and in turn I ensure that any damages are avoided and any issues that potentially reduce the value of the property are promptly reported for real estate to quickly resolve. Our agent has been slow to respond on critical issues, requiring multiple follow ups in particular on issues. Definitely the worst real estate in over 15 yeah of renting. Would not recommend as a tenant or to manage.

Fantastic experience: During the lease, Caroline had always been very helpful and responded very fast. Once we reported an issue of a broken pipe, the plumber showed up the next day. Also, we asked for a reference letter when moving out, then we received it by email in just one minute. It is just so efficient and mind-blowing. Sadly, we had to move away from Lane Cove :( However, thanks to Caroline and Kate, everything was smooth.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, always available. Managed my rental property perfectly and managed the sale thereof with the greatest professionalism. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Welcoming, quick and reliable. Applied for a home this week and now I’ve got the keys. Thanks to Jane, Caroline and especially Kate for answering all my questions and making this a smooth process. Highly recommend !

Fantastic experience: Dealing with Select Property to find accommodation has been seamless, stress free and an absolute pleasure. The entire process from applying to signing the agreement was done in no time at all. I have dealt with two staff members who were both extremely friendly and supportive.
