Negative experience: My personal experience with Sterling Realty,(Scott Perry) was the worst I have ever experienced! After being told my offer was accepted by the vendor, congratulated and being told the house was mine, asked to sign the sale contract and paying a holding deposit… Waited to hear from him for 6 days, this whole time I was made to believe the house was mine. All the while he was having open hose for it without me being notified at all. Only to be contacted on the 6th day to be told that unfortunately during the weekend we got a substantially higher offer and the vendor will go with them. I got “Guzumped” (used as leverage to get other higher offers) To any buyers, just be aware of his tactics and if you decide to go with a property he is selling, at least you are somewhat informed. He will use anything to make you get attached to the property and start an auction, even though it’s a private sale! This has caused so much confusion and heartache for me and my family, and if I know I will save another family from experiencing the same... At least it won’t be in vain

Negative experience: I'm having major issues with one of their tenants. Until recently he hadn't done anything illegal that I know of, so there is no legal recourse available to resolve the issue. As such, I tried contacting Danielle Ferguson this morning to discuss any possible resolution. No one even bothered trying to contact me or even acknowledged the issue. I would have given zero stars if Google reviews allowed it Update: 25th March Danielle finally bothered to contact me..only to say she is doing nothing. Great job! Update 27 March: Scott, I HAVE NEVER claimed to be one of your clients. I am having an issue with one of your tenants..he has maliciously escalated the issue and it is no longer about the noise. I reached out to Danielle, she refused to do anything about his malicious actions, and when I informed you of what he'd done, you didn't care either..until you saw my review. Also, to be fair Danielle had actioned previous requests to speak to the tenant. I meant she never bothered responding to the most egregious issue as of 24th March...when she responded on the 25th and said she was going to do nothing. Please stop calling me, it's harassment. Update: 23.04.2025 In response to your comment regarding his death, that doesn't change the way you treated me when I was having issues with him, so the review stays. And rather than even trying a fake apology, you tried to intimidate me by yelling down the phone at me, threatening legal action for my review. Maybe next time, do your job and be a decent human being, as well as getting better tenants. Enjoy the rest of your day. 24.04.25 I updated it because I saw yours demand that I remove.it. You earned this review, so you get to keep it. I never threatened that old neighbour. As for the current neighbour, they were blaring their music and screaming. My 70 yr old aunty had a headache, so she went over to ask them nicely to turn down their blaring music a bit, and they said they didn't care and weren't weren't going to do anything, then shut the door in her face. Just because something is legal doesn't meant they're not being inconsiderate, especially considering how close their house is. And FYI your tenant or one of their mates jumped the fence, trespassed onto my property and poured paint thinner all over the grass. Maybe find some decent tenants for once.

Negative experience: This man (Scott Perry), had a huge tantrum on the Princess highway at my younger L plater brother who was driving carefully in the middle lane doing nothing wrong. He recklessly pulled up beside us in his work vehicle with a caravan attached, opened his window and started to scream at us. He then proceeded to cut us off and sped up the highway. We are so confused about what happened. We were able to figure out who he was because he was driving his work vehicle.

Fantastic experience: Top notch experience with Sterling reality. With never having sold a home before, we knew it could be a quite daunting experience. So after Scott was recommended to us we met with him to discuss the process ahead, and he immediately provided us with peace, and reassurance he knew what needed to be done to sell our home. His knowledge on the process was quite impressive, and to be honest was the reason we chose Sterling. So we arranged for him to visit our home and discuss what we needed to do to get the best possible outcome. Initially we spoke to Scott a couple of times a week to go over our plan. Nothing was a bother for him from meeting with contractors, at times organising contractors on our behalf. Always keeping us up to date with the progress and once the small improvements to our home were completed, he explained in detail what happens at auction. Naturally we were nervous, on auction day but when the property was passed in we felt we had failed, but Scott again showed us positivity, experience & guidance that we needed to trust the process to eventually get to end end goal - selling our home. Which we did, so without Scott & his team at Sterling I am not sure if we would or could of hung in and achieved the result.

Negative experience: I’m a seller and my auction was today with YPA. I can’t believe what just happened. The director of this company Scott Perry, was approaching all of the interested buyers of a house he listed down the road whilst we were doing the auction. This is disgusting behaviour, unethical and unprofessional. Please rethink when you are selling with this company. I would expect much more professionalism from this man.
