Negative experience: We had finalised our property in Dandenong to sell with Stockdale and Leggo. The representative named Dez was very helpful, and provided me with all the required information and procedures time to time. My partner and myself had clearly asked what the total fee was including advertisement and marketing. And after discussion, we were advised to pay $6,800 including all charges. After 1 year, when our property had been sold in auction, they charged us with an extra $1,200. And we had never agreed with both Dez and Neil to pay this extra amount. However, when the settlement was completed, Stockdale took their share of $8,000, even though we had only agreed to $6,800. There is a lack of transparency, and disadvantage has been taken of our good will.

Negative experience: My time as a tenant dealing with this real estate company in Eumemmerring VIC -3177 from 2016-2017 was nothing short of a nightmare. It's imperative that I share my experience to caution others, as this is a company to be avoided at all costs. My tenure with them was marked by an alarming array of issues, including gaslighting, manipulative tactics, bullying, and outright dishonesty. The lack of transparency and consistency in their dealings was astonishing. Property managers seemed to change like the weather, and with each change came a new narrative, making it impossible to establish clear communication or trust. What was particularly troubling was their targeting of immigrants, often citing vague legal reasons to intimidate tenants over minor issues. Speaking out against their practices led to a downward spiral in my life as a tenant, making it clear that they prioritize their own interests over those of their tenants. In conclusion, this real estate company operates unethically and should be avoided at all costs. I strongly urge potential tenants to heed the warnings in the one-star reviews on Google and steer clear of this company to spare themselves the distress and injustice that I endured during my time with them. Tenant lived in a property in “Eumemmerring VIC -3177” year 2016-2017

Negative experience: Do NOT deal with Anita Muscat she doesn't even know the rules she even admitted in messages, if you're dealing with one of her properties she wont take any responsibility she is very unprofessional for not even knowing how to solve any problems and putting full responsibility on others. Ask to speak to someone higher do not go through her.

Negative experience: Never deal with Stockdale & leggo Dandenong because after vacant the agent will trying their best to ripp you off no matter how good you are we paid the rent on time for 3 year and after vacant we spent $999 on cleaning fee the agent and the owner still not happy and asking us to pay the owner more cash the owner never fixed any issue during tenancy most of repair we done from our own expenses during 3 years still they keeped our bond for more then 2 years VCAT proceed are also very slow

Fantastic experience: Neil Butler and Dez Oliver from Dandenong Stockdale & Leggo were fantastic agents for us. They visited us twice at our invitation before we decided to go with them over another agency. Each time they gave us excellent advice about things to do, fix and declutter as well as informing us thoroughly about the marketing and auction sales process. We felt very comfortable about entrusting them with the sale of our home, and our expectations were completely fulfiled when the property sold prior to auction for more than the advertised auction range, thanks entirely to Dez Oliver's dedicated work on our behalf. In the end Dez achieved the sale price that we were aiming for and which he and a different agency we spoke with had both said should be achievable. What made us most impressed about this was that there was a series of half a percent per month interest rate rises which is still continuing at time of writing that was shaking property market confidence everywhere as reported in the news, but Dez (and Neil) still managed to achieve our target price in an increasingly difficult market. We are very impressed and happily endorse all of Dandenong Stockdale and Leggo's tireless work on their vendor's behalf. When we bought this house over 12 years ago interest rates were over 8 percent so buyers should not be worried about what they are now. Whoever bouight our place will come out ahead in the longer term regardless of interest rate changes, just as we have done OK in real terms. People forget that a couple of decades ago interest rates were over 17 percent. But it does make the market tougher, so we say again that we are delighted with Dandenong Stockdale & Leggo, and salesman Dez Oliver' s performance. 5 stars.

Negative experience: We walked to the front door of a scheduled open inspection only to be met by the agent (Dez Oliver). He rudely told us to turn around no inspections today, when in fact he was showing others as we walked away. Overall very unprofessional and uncivilised manner

Fantastic experience: ATTENTION DEZ...I am messaging you today regarding an incident in Carrington st Hampton East ... after a long and calming consultation with Dian Seargaent ( the true Sargeant's owner). I've come to the conclusion that Sargeants (in particular the Dandenong branch,) Is an upstanding And admirable organisation with helpful and empathetic team of agents. Since we last spoke I have found that the chap who assaulted Mary on Thursday last was actually the developer masquerading as Kent from Sargeant's (this thug had contact with Kent(the real Kent) as he was involved in the sale (conveyancing I think). The real Kent is beside himself with grief over the matter...I had a long conversation with Dian Seargaent (the real owner of Sargeant's) and she is a lovely woman....she councilled me for a long time ( I was a blubbering mess but she was able to calm me down.... and clearly she has some experience with mental health issues. She's an angel... and was very upset by the true Kent's reaction to this matter. I have messaged him at his Dandenong office to apologize for this as I know Mary's mental health played a big part in her rude behaviour at the Hampton East estate agent......I know that Mary will be saddened when she realises what she did at the Hampton estate agent ( Buxton I think.... not quite sure). Needless to say I'm in awe of your treatment of Mary over the past few weeks,Dez. You should be proud of the compassionate way you have handled the situation!!!! He sold me the unit and I was there for 12 months then he helped me find a rental when I had to sell the unit. Fantastic experience: "We had our property listed with another agent for over 9 months, with 3 price reductions and had no positive results even when they suggested that we can get our price at auction, that was a major fail. We were devastated and very disheartened. We listed our property with Dez who assured us that we can get our price. We were sceptical but with the first open for inspection we had a buyer and yes it was the price we wanted, way above the price that the previous agents said we "should" get and the price that Dez said we "could definitely" get. There were no backwards or forwards negotiations, it was sign on the dotted line. Dez is passionate, knows the true value of your home, the market and what he is talking about and gets the job done straight off the bat. We could not recommend Dez enough...if you want your property sold Dez is the man!"

Negative experience: This is one of the most crooked real estate agents in the state. Might be OK if you are a crooked property owner, but if you are disadvantaged in any way you don't want to rent through them. They fully believe they are above the law and will try to overrule VCAT!

Negative experience: Never putting rental property with them again. The property manager (start name with K) was a biggest liar ever I meet. She nevers put something in writing unless it is a legal issue. Later on she will tell she has not said this before. I had to call them for collecting my rent every single time.

Negative experience: Very very dodgy staff. They helped landlord to take my bond because I coudn't clean cooker exhaust fan (inside). To lean that i have to use a ladder and still it was hard to reach and not safe. Number of agents refused to take this property because of the attidude of landlord. But staff @ S&L took landlord side and helped to get money of everyone. Never took rented party side to maintain the essentials. Never seen such disgusting behave buy an agent taking landlord side and putting all voice less peopl in to Pain. I ment few neighbors who lived other units and they have gone through the same. Highly not recommended to rent from here.
