Negative experience: If these people demand that you have to give them a security deposit on a rental property, please don’t. It is illegal, they will try and draw out the process of giving you back your money. Unless you want a drawn out VCAT process then I highly recommend that you don’t do that

Negative experience: To all property owners who are considering using Biggin & Scott to manage your property, I wish to let you know that I would not recommend this real estate agent from Dandenong and especially the owner Manager whose name is Collin who has lost his principles as a genuine person. After having my property being managed by Collin for over 8 years I have seen a decline in their management and a huge drop in prompt communication . Everything is a huge task for them and does not meet industry standards .

Negative experience: Very disappointing, my application got rejected for requesting small repairs for the rental property. Unprofessional and dominant over the tenants. Avoid this agent, they are not good for rentals.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking real estate agency and very very unprofessional! I had Biggin Scott Dandenong rentals managing one of my property, they did a horrific job, did not manage the property well at all, and when there was an issue at the property with a difficult tenant, they literally just walked out saying they can’t manage the property as it’s taking up their time to handle a troublesome tenant, called me up and said, they are not going to manage the property anymore and asked me to come and pick up the keys for the property. There was no notice period given either. About 8 months of rent from the tenant was in arrears. They also said they will apply to VCAT for the damages and bond at the time they handed the key over as it all happened under their management. which after 7 months, I did not hear anything . When I send a follow up email, they literally said yes we are holding the bond, but you can apply to VCAT and sort out for yourself. We never said we will apply to vCAT. Then why in earths were they holding the bond? To pocket it them self? when I called to discuss, Steven Kitney, and Collin Kitney literally abused on the phone and hung up.. Shocking service and time waters. Don’t ever use this agency at all if you want to have a peace of mind. Very unprofessional and unethical agency.

Negative experience: Have been going backwards and forwards with a property manager in regards to having a tenants fence replaced as it has completely fallen down and they have pets. Was advised they contacted the owner and the owner was happy to go ahead - to then having no contact and after weeks of having no response being told they no longer will repair the fence. Left messages for phone calls with no response. I feel bad for there tenant who pays rent for a property which should be "managed" however when it comes to work being done it is not completed

Negative experience: Very bad costemer service, looks like they don't wanna work They kicked an old lady Infront of me today they just open the door and tell her this is all that we can help you what a bad people in there. Hope the management they can fix things like this

Fantastic experience: “I used Andrew ward to sell my Dandenong property in 2021.  I found Andrew to be straight down the line and honest with his approach to selling.  I followed his advice and judgment and presented the property as we agreed to give it the best chance of selling.  I was very pleasantly surprised when we received a decent strong offer in the first 24 hours of home opens and we accepted the offer.  Everything went smoothly and the property sold in with in 2 days. All up start to finish took no more than 1 week and that’s because I listened to the advice and was realistic on were the market was at and Andrew delivered.” Definitely 5 stars for the fabulous service. Negative experience: Biggin & Scott- Dandenong branch: - Process of “Auction Passed in” with the Agents not transparent and NOT given equal opportunity – Unfair for Vendors and buyers I would like to express my disgust at the way I was treated by Andrew Ward and Colin Kitney on the 26/06/2021, for the property at Spring Valley Drive, Clayton South. The manner in which they conducted the auction was unprofessional, unfair and extremely rude. As this property was passed in because there was nobody to bid except vendor bid. I thought that I would be given the opportunity to make an offer. However, that was not the case. Andrew Ward and Colin Kitney clearly favoured the other party and sold the property without even giving me the opportunity to continue to negotiate with the vendor. I was extremely upset with their actions and Colin Kitney, who was not only rude, but also physically manhandled me as I confronted him inside the property. I was extremely humiliated in front of the vendor, the other buyer and these two agents. Their unprofessionalism reflects very badly on their agency and on Biggin Scott. Their actions showed that they were playing favourites, and as a result of this, sold the property for a lower price to the other buyer and I was not given the opportunity to offer more. I would warn everyone to steer well clear of this agency and in particularly Andrew Ward and Colin Kitney.

Negative experience: Warning to Landlords. They didn't even perform an annual rental inspection without me telling them. Giving them commission for no reason.

Negative experience: Never expect reply from them. Today I sent them 3rd email regarding our broken window glass.. I don’t know whether I will get any reply or not. The worst real estate agency I have ever dealt with. My cooktop stopped working last year. Can’t tell how many days I had to wait for fixation. Pure time wastage. Earlier their name was Barry plant Dandenong.. only name changed, not people.

Negative experience: We moved in a property in Nov'18 and the in the next couple of days we'd reported a lot pf problems with the property categorically as Urgent and Non Urgent to Steven Kitney. Some of the biggest problems were roof leaking, dirty kitchen area, sink blockages, roaches, dirty and smelly carpet, leaking oil from faulty chimney direct on the stove beneath due to which we stopped cooking until it got fixed after 2 months. The issues which got resolved at least took 2 months on an average, and that too after 'continuous' followup emails, calls at least over 50 emails and 20+ calls. Steven just took us for granted giving a lame exuse that my emails are little hard to understand. And we were just speechless to this excuse oh his. After sending 20+ emails categorically all he says is it's hard to parse my emails. Imagine These words from a property manager with 15+ years experience. There are still few urgent issues to be addressed and we are in the 8th month after these issues were raised. Shame on you people, we the tenants pay you without fail every month and in return we have to struggle so much to get even very very very very very very very very very very very very very basic issues to get fixed.

Fantastic experience: Colin and staff managed our house through various tenants for over 7 years. Can't fault the personal interest he devoted to us. Recently we put the house on the market and even with the virus slowing things down it was sold within 2 weeks... Liz and I can't speak highly enough of Colin ( and Andrew).. Thanks guys...

Negative experience: I emailed, and called the AGENT on 3 occasions to advise them of my postal address change and they never bothered to update my details. Agent did not advise me properly that tenant had provided notice to vacate. I only found out AFTER they had moved out. They sent LETTER to wrong address. Again, the next property, Agent again does not advise me directly that tenant gave notice to vacate. I found out later that they were moving when reading a rental statement with 2 words: VACATING and the DATE. Really, this is how your notify the owners? I have since taken the properties and given to Barry Plant Noble Park. They are wonderful! They communicate via phone and email. BP Noble Park clearly shows respect and professionalism compared to BP Dandenong! Oh and also since BP Dandenong had the properties for the 2017/2018 period, they now refuse to provide the yearly rental statement and wants to charge $70 fee to do so! BP Dandenong is a joke and wouldn't waste time with them, they are lazy and sloppy. AVOID! THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER AGENTS OUT THERE WHO WANT YOUR BUSINESS!

Negative experience: An agent from here tried to lease out my Dandenong house but after a few months of trying had no success and just gave up completely, telling me it was not possible to rent out the house! Gave it to another agency and they rented it out within a month! I'm just disappointed that they wasted my time and as a result I ended up losing rent for a few months. It was just a bit unprofessional and seemed a little lazy in my opinion.

Negative experience: When I entered into a property manage by them I found it very dirty. It was the worst condition. I placed a repair request for some items but they don't even care. In past two years they inspected the property twice and each time they promised to repair them but that's all they did. They believe in Zero customer service though I pay the rent on time very religiously.
