Negative experience: I was at an open house recently and had the displeasure of dealing with Mina Zakhary. He was rude to me and had no time to answer questions about the property. He was talking to someone wearing business casual while I had turned up in jeans and a T. When he had finished with that gentleman I tried getting his attention again but he said one moment, walked off and started talking to someone else. Looked around the property for another 10 minutes and saw him go and talk to several other people without talking to me. I dont know if it was because of how I dressed or if im asian. It's not acceptable.

Negative experience: Received notification that my rent would increase by $100 per week as soon as my initial lease was over. I'm the perfect tenant, paying on time, keeping the place is perfect condition, responsive to inspections. When asked how Chidiac can do something so unethical, they said to me "we aren't doing anything unethical." These people do not know what ethics are. This quote says everything you need to know about this mob. Stay away. Find an alternative. I look forward to seeing them justify this at NCAT and further. During a housing crisis, no less. Unconscionable. Monstrous. Simply put, bad faith greedy people.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I rented a house through Chidiac for two years, and were blessed to have Raymond Gao as our property manager. We unfortunately had a whole host of issues during that time, made worse by a difficult & unresponsive landlord, but Ray was a superstar. He was always responsive to communication, persistent with chasing our landlord, & delightful to interact with. We didn’t re-sign for a third year as we were leaving Sydney, but I wouldn’t hesitate to seek Ray out again in the future should we return. You generally don’t hear many positive things about property managers, but he absolutely breaks the stereotypes.

Alex stood out to me with his knowledgeable, confident and professional demeanour. Over the 13 year he has proven time and time again I made right decision: Chidiac has been excellent in managing my property. After 13 years I decided to sell my property, Chidiac team Cristian and Bo under Alex leading has outperformed any other agents in this area. My property was sold on off- market, Chidiac only used their own data base to invite potential buyers for inspection. The invitation was sent on Wednesday, there were 15 group walk-throughs on Saturday, and on the following Tuesday, the sale contract was exchanged without cooking period and deposit taken. Amazing! In less than 7 days on market, my property sold at a record high price in our building without advertising!!! I am convinced now that the Chidiac’ unique proven approach in selling is the key to achieve the desired result for their clients. Fantastic experience: Over the last several years, I have been a tenant, have purchased my apartment and been a landlord all with Chidiac. Before we even listed our property, I reached out to Cristian for advice on whether it was the right time to sell. Positive experience: I recently purchased a 3 bedroom apartment in Olympic Park from Bo Zhang. When they pre-settlement inspection was done, the previous owner(s) of the property had moved out, but hadn't cleaned it. In fact, the property was absolutely disgusting. I raised this matter with Bo, and expressed my disappointment that a property would be left in this condition, but also handed over by Bo Zhang like this. He promised to have it cleaned, and 9 days later nothing had been done. No contact from the cleaner, or follow up from Bo. I had to spend six hours of my own time to fully clean the property before I could move in. To me it seems this company is all about the sale only, and not concerned about leaving the purchaser with a good impression of their company. Update: After posting my review, I received a phone call from Alex Chidiac, the Director of Chidiac Realty to address the matter, and come up a amicable resolution. Thank you Alex for reaching out so quickly to resolve the matter.
