Fantastic experience: I rented a property through Elders real estate agency for 12 months, and it was a smooth and professional experience. The leasing process was clear and well-organised. The team was responsive and kept me informed throughout, which I appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been renting through Elders Lidcombe for the last 10 years and their service to date has been nothing but professional. The property manager, Judith is considerate of both the landlord’s and the tenant’s needs and interests and her communication has always been professional, friendly, prompt, clear and effective. I recommended a friend of mine to Elders Lidcombe when she was looking for a rental property for six months and she too found Elders Lidcombe amazing to deal with and she commented on how smooth her move in and out of tenancy was with them with her getting the full bond back a week after her move out. Highly recommend this place if you are thinking of selling a property or renting a property.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly staff, appreciate all the service and help they provide.

Fantastic experience: From our initial tenancy via Elders Lidcombe in 2022, we’ve had only positive experiences. Judith, who signed us on was warm and welcoming, and appreciated our values as prior landlords and homeowners. Ani sent our messages on promptly, and Rudy was friendly, flexible and quick with our routine inspections. We only had the pleasure of being taken care of by Costa Athanassiou in the fourth year of our tenancy. As our new property manager his professionalism was quickly evident. We were most impressed by Costa’s work ethic, starting with his diligent correspondence. Any question we had, any email we sent, Costa responded with an immediate answer, or acknowledgement and response when he’d gained the owner’s reply. We felt heard when we explained about an ongoing issue we had been facing since the start of our tenancy. Our old house had no ventilation, air flow or no air-con, so excessive heat and mould were a problem. After the first blistering summer, and received a flat no from our owner. We complained about the mould and they referred us to the mould management paperwork provided with our lease, which we already followed to no avail. So, for three years during the hot months we suffered through sleepless nights; aggravated days, and mould ruining our clothes, possessions and furniture. Due to the sauna-like conditions in every room of our home, we bought two evaporative air coolers which only put more moisture in the air; four dehumidifiers which we had to run 24/7, 365 days a year to prevent the mould; fans, fans and more fans; and paid through the roof on our sky-high electricity bills. When Costa came on board at Elders Lidcombe, we dared ask again for air con, giving reference to the exorbitant costs incurred on our bill, and the added expenses on top of the landlord’s rent increases every 12 months. Costa acted immediately and was able to convince our landlord to install insulation and whirlybirds, which made conditions at least comfortably liveable again! We still have to use the dehumidifiers every day, and still empty a minimum of 6L of water every 4 hours from each room in the hot months, but with insulation in the ceiling, we have a protective barrier and the difference was immediately noticeable. The house got drastically cooler in summer, and cozier in winter. It was a huge relief for us, and we sure did appreciate Costa’s attention to our concern, and his excellent results from the owner. The owner would not have cared or budged otherwise. That wasn’t the only example of how Costa came through for us, but suffice to say the important thing to know is that each time he handled our fault reports or queries, he showed us understanding, courtesy, and took swift action to get things done. We felt lucky to have a champion in Costa. He takes care of business! If you get Mr Athanassiou as your agent, consider yourself in good hands. He’s a credit to Elders and upholds the friendly, personal experience we’ve enjoyed with Elders Lidcombe. In our experience, Costa is an open, accessible, courteous, fair, friendly, high calibre professional. If you’re looking for integrity and results, look to Costa Athanassiou.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience throughout my tenancy, thanks to the team’s consistent support and professionalism. They were always responsive, helpful, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. A special thank you to Costa, the property manager, for being incredibly supportive, approachable, and efficient at all times. Your assistance truly made a difference and was greatly appreciated. Wishing the team all the best and thank you again for everything!

Fantastic experience: Costa has alway been a pleasure to deal with highly recommended!

Negative experience: Misleading and opportunistic behaviour After over 20 years of renting in Australia and being property owners ourselves, we are very familiar with rental rules and standard practices — which makes this experience especially disappointing. The property was advertised at a certain rent. After two inspections, application approval, and verbal confirmation, the agent ensured we were happy and ready to move in. Only then did they increase the rent by $100 per week, using shared gas and backyard maintenance as an excuse — none of which was clearly disclosed at the beginning. If the rent had been stated correctly from the start, we would have had no issue deciding whether to proceed. Changing the terms after approval shows greed, lack of transparency, and disrespect for tenants’ understanding and experience. Very unprofessional. Be extremely cautious.

Fantastic experience: A big thank you to the Team at Elders LIDCOMBE, thank you Costa , Judith , Rudy and the Team. The most professional real estate agents you will deal with. Thank you Costa

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly, efficient, and a very reliable agency.

Negative experience: I tried to inspect a property that's been available for rent for weeks online at 8a Orbell St Kingsgrove. I tried emailing the agency, no reply. I tried calling, they took my details for an agent to call, but no one did. Then I just went and rented another place. After I've sorted out the other place, this agency texted me a general link to book an inspection time. That's it. If you own 8a Orbell St, or if you are a landlord wondering why your property isn't being leased, consider trying an agency that actually responds to potential tenants enquiring. EDIT: This agency has replied below to discredit and disregard without accountability for their actions. This should be seen as further evidence of why you should look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: It has been a pleasure working with Elders. We recently completed signage for them and were very pleased with the process. Costa and his team were professional, cooperative, and great to work with.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been renting my unit through this agency for the past 8 years, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with their service. Throughout all these years, they’ve been incredibly professional, reliable, and supportive always quick to respond and genuinely caring when it came to any issues or maintenance requests. I truly appreciate the entire team for their consistent effort and dedication, and I especially want to acknowledge Costa for his help over the last few months. He has been extremely helpful, attentive, and easy to communicate with, always making sure everything is handled smoothly and efficiently. It’s rare to find an agency that maintains such a high level of professionalism and care for their tenants over so many years. Thank you for making my renting experience such a positive one , I’m very grateful for all your support!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience working with Costa Athanassiou from Elders Lidcombe. The team were incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process of handling my rental property claim after a tenant eviction. From handling through the required documentation to ensuring everything was submitted correctly and on time, their support made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. They kept me updated every step of the way and made sure I received my claim promptly. I truly appreciate their attention to detail, patience, and dedication. I highly recommend Costa Athanassiou from Elders Lidcombe to anyone looking for reliable and knowledgeable real estate professionals — especially if you need assistance navigating property or claim-related matters. Thank you for your great effort, Elders Lidcombe.

Fantastic experience: Elders Real estate Lidcombe has an outstanding customer service. Judith has been easy to deal with and very helpful. They are prompt with their assistance whenever help is needed with my rental home. Thank you Elders team.

Negative experience: I wish i could give less. Very unprofessional, i believe they should learn from Ray white or any professional real estate. U can't just get away with a sorry wasting a family time running for property. Such a shame

Fantastic experience: Been through different real estate agents and elders has been the easiest to deal with. Judith was great with communication, fast at responding to emails and made renting as a tenant easy. Happy all round with Elders and their service.

Fantastic experience: I have rented 3 homes in the past and Elders Lidcombe have been the easiest realestate to deal with. Our Property Manager Judith has been fantastic. Judith's communication has been absolutely great. she has always answered my questions and gotten back to us promptly. Her understanding and logical thinking has made it a shame we have had to move on to a bigger home. We can only hope we receive the same amount of service with our new agency although Judith has set the bar high. Thank you it's been a pleasure dealing with Elders Lidcombe.

Positive experience: Good experience with this agent, I rented an apartment from them, PM Judith replied my requests quickly, had no issues when living in the apartment and they processed the termination properly.

Negative experience: WATCH OUT FOR THIS AGENCY They will do anything to make you feel Like you are nothing . Breaching laws and legislation. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ! GOOD CITIZEN

Negative experience: Extremely rough, rude and UN-PROFESSIONAL staff… they are damaging Elders reputation. Elders should look into this virus.

Negative experience: a very, very slow reply. Posture for landlords and rentals rather than tenants. I applied for repairs and waited for 5 months

Negative experience: One of worst realestate agents so far . They waste clients time as well as they doesn't have well trained staff . So bad customer service . They make you feel like they are doing some sort of favour by giving you opportunity to rent house from there agency. So disappointed with Elders service . No star for the Elders realesate

Fantastic experience: Firstly, the Property Management Team are amazing. Secondly, if only our investment property had been in Sydney, we would've asked Elders to manage it. Thirdly, they made our return interstate transition to the Sydney Rental Market so easy and simple - especially as we had not had to rent for many years in NSW. The property owners were obviously amazing as well. Only minimal 'repairs' were needed at the start of tenancy, and these were attended to within a week of us submitting our condition report. Rental receipts were ALWAYS emailed to us promptly. Easy to use payment system established. The only time we had to contact Elders was to let them know we were moving - again. The team have been an absolute pleasure to deal with - and we want to thank Jude, Ani, Jo and Kim for being so friendly, yet professional and helpful! You ladies are certainly an asset to Elders Lidcombe, and we hope to deal with you again in the future as PM's to our next investment property.

Fantastic experience: Abdullah is awesome and a great professional!

Negative experience: Very unresponsive. As a prospective tenant for their property in Auburn, I didnt hear back on the application at all. Absolutely disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: Always acting in a timely manner. The professional and reliable team at Elders Lidcombe deserve more than 5 stars. Judith and her team are amazing.

Fantastic experience: Professional and great customer experience. They explained any questions I had and were easy to contact and get a hold of whenever we needed.

Fantastic experience: Elders Real Estate has been the best agent I have ever had, I've been leasing an apartment through them for the past 3 years and they have always tended to any needs and Judith has been the best property manager as well. I highly recommend using their services if you're looking for a reliable agent.

Positive experience: Kind&professional

Negative experience: I had a bad experience when renting from Elders LIDCOMBE. It took forever to do a minor repair. When I moved out they ask me to fix 17 issues in the house. I did everyone of them. Then after a month they sent me few more with a $700 deduction from the bond. I felt they are just looking for excuses to take my bond. I wouldn’t deal with them again.

Fantastic experience: Weekend buffet was too good...specially hot dosa

Fantastic experience: Create real estate staff's great and they do great services when in need.

Fantastic experience: The staff here have always been professional. Very happy with their service.

Fantastic experience: One of the Best Real estate agents in Lidcombe I have dealt with for 8 years across two properties. The entire Team is very professional and extremely helpful. Sang, Kim and most particularly Judith Krupicka with whom I have dealt with is the best. She is clear, transparent in her communication and very helpful and supportive for any repairs, fixes and provides inputs and suggestions where required. Fantastic experience: Friendly people.

Fantastic experience: As owner of many investment properties, in both residential & commercial, I have found Elders Lidcombe to be a trusted partner in the local real estate market. Originally purchased my local investment property with another real estate agent only to find the business later merged with another agency that was not fully licensed! Moving to Elders lidcombe was smooth with a welcoming personalised introduction from Sang Tat (the director) over ten years ago. That first impression has materialized into the best tenants & peace of mind, rare in the real estate market. Judith, as property manager, has also added a personal aspect to property management with kind & keen consideration towards tenants & landlords alike. I would recommend Elders to anyone who believes in property investment the way it should be : the best long term investment in life.

Fantastic experience: Appointed Elders Lidcombe to manage our rental properties for close to 2 years now. They've always been professional, punctual with conducting routine inspections, helpful with conducting repairs, keeping us informed and prompt with rental payment disbursements. We would happily recommend them to friends and family.

Negative experience: Appointed them to manage my investment property in Auburn. When the tenant was late for payments few months upon finishing the lease, they did not follow up. The bond didn't end up covering the damage at my property but the worse thing is the rental staff at Elders Libcomde, just didn't care and made me felt like they can't be bothered as the lease was going to finish anyway. Think twice if you want to go with them.
