Negative experience: Elders Wollongong leasing team are incompetent. They don’t follow through on questions to owners and when you ask a direct question or enquires they either lie or don’t respond. No matter if it is in writing or in person. So landlords and tenants I would avoid elders Wollongong the professionals just isn’t there.

The last 5 years I've rented a house to reside in and Lincoln, the property manager, has by far stood out from the rest because of his professionalism, kind nature, his can-do attitude and prompt service. Every repair I've required is arranged to be fixed the very same day as reported and over 20 years, I've only seen Lincoln to be the only property manager that does this! During this time all maintenance issues were dealt with immediately after notice. The team was understanding whenever we accidentally missed rent or a utility bill. As renters we felt as though all requirements that we had were met and any adjustments needed (within reason) were satisfied. Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience with this real estate agent. While the end-of-lease cleaning was done to a standard that pleased the property owner, the agent was unreasonably picky and pushy throughout the process. Despite my negative review being promptly removed after the agent's promise to release the bond, he has since failed to follow through. After a week of chasing him, I discovered he had not released the bond, citing an upcoming bill I haven’t even received. Communication has been poor, and I cannot recommend this agent based on my experience.

Negative experience: DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS REAL ESTATE!!! They (in particular property manager Daniel) only care about your money & don't care how badly they treat you. This is particularly true for those who rent through Elders. Daniel cannot be trusted! He goes back on his word & has no problem with lying to renters & tradies. He tells renters he has contacted tradies when he in fact hasn't (this has been proven by many different tradies saying the first contact they have had is from the tenant not Daniel as he reguarly claims). He is untrustworthy! He uses the throw away tag line that they are a family business but if you go off the way he treats people, this is a family you should avoid at all costs! He lets landlord get away with not fixing things including leaking taps - even when tenant furniture is being destoyed by those leaking taps & not treating or dealing with mould. He doesn't care about tenants health - even if the poor health is being caused by something at the rental property. He has extremely poor communication skills (& that's being generous) & is not suited to the role of property manager. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, STRESS & MONEY & AVOID ELDERS WOLLONGONG!!!!

Negative experience: Avoid this agency if you are a tenant. Absolutely horrendous. Lou is awful, intimidating and misogynistic. They have no respect for you as a tenant. Have been yelled at over the phone to a point where someone in a different room could hear the person on the other end. Repairs simply won’t happen. Our electric stove didn’t work for over 6 months. Never never never rent through this agency
