Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the agency service for people renting through Ray White. There were so many issues with the house we rented, and the agent didnt report them to the landlord, and when they eventually did report the issues the landlord was not concerned about fixing anything. We filled out four maintenance issue forms with about 12 problems for the house, after two inspections showing the agent the issues. For a $600 pw house!! Avoid renting through Ray White Highton if you can.

Positive experience: Adam was professional at all times, communicated clearly as required during the successful Sale (Auction) process. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Peter enough whether it be selling or buying a property he is the right person to help you. He is extremely respectful, genuine and a great communicator and negotiator.

Negative experience: Not professional agent services. Tenants left without proper cleaning. I identified many locations which were not cleaned, where I have cleaned very well before I hand it over to the Raywhite. In addition, in the past two years, the monthly rents were transferred to me mostly three weeks late. I raised this issue, but I was told that it is still within the window, which I think it was meant 4 weeks. I suggest the staff at Highton to talk to Raywhite colleges at Bundoora to learn what they handle a property. I was notified whenever the tenant at my Bundoora property paid rent three days late. The email is as follows: Email from Raywhite Bundoora: We wish to advise that the renters are yet to make their rent payment for this month, with the outstanding amount being $1,999.00. The rent is currently 3 days in arrears. At Ray White Bundoora, we have a zero tolerance for rental arrears and accordingly, rest assured that we are a pursuing the rent daily. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Fantastic experience: A good test of a Property Manager is how the respond when things aren't going as well as they can be with a tenant. I had a tenant that after a while simply stopped paying rent and had to go through a lengthy process to evict the tenant. Chris, the property manager was there every step of the way and went above and beyond what I had expected. Not only have we now secured a new tenant but Chris also helped me with all the details required to make a successful claim for rent default under my landlord insurance.

I didn't have to wait once, making the task of evaluating the land fast and pain free. If you're looking to pick up some property or offload a doozy that's a bit long in the tooth, Adam and his team are you go to in the 3216 area code. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Garbage property management company! I rented this house for 2 months, and it was full of ants. Send an email to the property management company! Unreasonasing, Yesterday, a strong wind blew away the fence. The house was leaking, and the master bedroom and living room were everywhere. Today, I went directly to the property management company, but the front desk had a bad attitude. We were waiting for the manager outside, and the manager had a discriminatory face! Just ask us to send an email, and he can‘t control the rest! I forgot to say! We are Asians! Do they think it‘s good? Why should I give it 5 stars, so that they will see it.

Negative experience: We are deeply disappointed with our recent experience with Ray White Highton, particularly with agents George Politis and Nikolett Pesti. Firstly, George called us on Friday, stating that our offer had been accepted, pending a building inspection. We were thrilled and celebrated with friends and family. However, on Monday, we were blindsided when George informed us the offer had been reneged because another party had submitted an unconditional offer – despite us having already organised both finance and a building inspection for that week. Prior to this, we had inquired about a private inspection through Nikolett. She refused to arrange one unless we offered above a certain amount, citing the property was already under offer. However, the property stayed on the market for four more weeks with multiple inspections. When we finally viewed it, George told us there were no offers during that time. Ironically, the offer we eventually made and was “accepted” was below the amount Nikolett insisted upon. While we understand realtors have a job to do, this entire situation was poorly handled. To be told our offer was accepted only to have it revoked days later after celebrating the news is disheartening, to say the least. Ray White Highton, this is not the level of professionalism we expected.

Positive experience: Tom Sayers of Ray White was an excellent agent and achieved a sale in 11 weeks in what was quite a weak sales market. He is a very professional agent with a very friendly and attentive manner. The Ray White team were somewhat disappointing with their marketing and sales reporting with several errors in their ads and a very poor “standard” RayWhite video put up prior to our purchased video. Their “Week 1” sales report arrived in week 8!

Negative experience: I would not recommend renting your property through Ray White Highton. Absolutely slow and uncoordinated service to rent out property. Bad communication and rude staff. Showing up late or no show for appointments on the property. Also lost and misplaced 4 key cards for the electronic locks. The property sat for 2 weeks with no communication that the tenant broke lease. Two weeks with out rent being paid- we had to chase them up only to be met with more lies and excuses. I was even accused of throwing keys at one of their staff which is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. Too bad for them this property would be selling in the near future. Was hoping for a good outcome with them to assist in a future sale. Real estate agents be careful who you cross because you never know what you miss out on. I will be passing on my experience to EVERYONE! Losing more than 1 client isn’t great for business. $$$$ (I own 2 local businesses one is now a company) Managed to find a better alternative keys were collected from them on Friday. We managed to find support from another independent agency and the house has now been leased in a matter of 3 days! Lazy and unprofessional staff Ray white Highton. Disgusting service! Reply to owners response: How dare you post personal information re: him. Beyond unprofessional and despicable behaviour! Your rental management and agent were advised I was assisting him with this property, due to his health issues. So I’m not sure why you pointed out I’m not the owner of the rental in your mistaken response! I think you have my frustration with your staff’s incompetence confused with how you have suggested my behaviour to be? Please get your story straight because this is all very incorrect information you’ve posted and our proof of this will further harm your business. I’d reconsider your story. Ray white He also took it upon himself to call my husband at 8am on a Saturday morning to apparently discuss my conduct. Left a message threatening to come and see us in Ocean Grove if my husband didn’t respond to his message.

Fantastic experience: After seeing everything going on online I just came here to show support. I’ve had multiple interactions with Ray White Highton over the years and they have been nothing but absolute professionals. I had my home appraised only two weeks ago by Tom and Mollie from their sales team and they were both outstanding… they even told me the property was worth about $75,000 less than what I anticipated and I still feel that my experience with them was 10x better than with any other agent I’ve dealt with in the past. The internet is a cruel place, keep doing good work.

Negative experience: ****EDITED**** I am warning ANYONE AND EVERYONE for your own wellbeing and state of mind steer clear from this real estate. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Worst realestate to go through. Property manager talks out her backside. Lovely to your face but then will take you to vcat for a house that’s already falling down and try and claim all your bond. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I reached out for help with VCAT stuff and an ex employee had actually told me how toxic the work place is there and that she’d left a note in one of the office draws on her last day for the next person to ‘run while you can.’ Through all this, I was recently pregnant. We had intended on renewing our lease but the property manager insisted that where we were living is no state to raise a baby and the house should be demolished. Be very careful when renting through this company. Everyone deserves a happy and stress free life- Raywhite will not provide that for you. Update on the bond situation - all money was returned back to me EXCEPT for cleaning as I had accidentally left a few things at the property. At this point I was happy to just be done with Raywhite. Can happily say we are in a safe and secure home raising our first child in a house NOT provided by Raywhite. As I can’t respond to your comment- I thought I’d add a reminder about the VCAT case -the only payment you had received was a very small cleaning fee due to the face that a few things were left in some draws as I was heavily pregnant at the time and as instructed by Garcia the best thing the landlord could do to the properly is to demolish the place. We would have happily of stayed and raised our little one in the home we were renting. During VCAT the gentlemen who was hearing our matter was a very fair and reasonable guy. Everything EXCEPT a small fee for cleaning due to some things left behind- everything else Raywhite tried to claim was withdrawn by VCAT. No sign of damage caused by us as the tenants. As this house is built in swamp lands the foundation is not stable- nothing to do with the tenants. I think your response speaks volume. I’ve been a tenant many times before with a great rental history and great references. We are very happy and safe in our new place with awesome property managers. Negative experience: Edit: most brochure/paper delivery service uses kids and or disabled,others read the signs because it's the law - you are the outlier. Constant spam in letterbox despite notes and contacting them. Unprofessional, rude and a complete waste of paper. They claim they don't deliver the brochures themselves - then hire better people that do. Basically forcing people to give negative reviews before they are even potential customers is an interesting marketing approach too...
