Negative experience: I am very very disappointed in the service at Jellis Craig Geelong West. I would expect that when you pay over $1.6 million for a property that the agent would at least meet you at the property for a final inspection before settlement so that you can ask questions (as most real estate agents do) and then proceed to hand over all keys to all doors within the home. After several attempts to ask for all the keys, the feedback provided was “keys were handed over by the vendor to us and we left them in the kitchen drawer” When asked if they actually checked all the keys as they don’t work (they may have been to another property or keys accidentally missed), the response was “we don’t have to do that, the vendor handed us the keys”. I am gob smacked, what sort of response is this? Continued with “get keys /locks changed as most people do this anyway” There was also a verbal agreement of fixing a door which also never happened, we have just been ignored. The home is a year and a half old and already the toilet button has sunken in on day one of use!. Your customer service has been poor and in comparison to the sale of our home through another real estate company it is now more so evident just how withdrawn you became once the sale was done. Forget the customer, let the lawyers sort out keys and a broken door. Just shocking behaviour!

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible - never rent your property with them. They refused to use my tradie for my hedges and instead recommended guys that were multiple times the price. Then after I paid my tradie myself, they refused to "put him on the books." Kickbacks? Lastly they failed to give notice to a tenant within the 90 day period of a fixed term lease. They are simply not a serious outfit and I wouldn't trust them to feed my fish after this. Awful, awful agents.

Negative experience: Poor communication from the real estate agent. I rented through another real estate agency who was bought and rebranded by Jellis Craig in Geelong West and since then I have been disappointed by the service received. I had to do a regular end of lease process with this team and made all the steps required as well as returned my keys in advance to allow easier inspection process. Despite my anticipation and my numerous calls and visits to finalise the BOND return, I still had to manage all this process from overseas as they failed to complete their side of their work on time before I left the country for an holiday. My urgency was clearly stated to them. I had a quick meeting before I left with the real estate agent who stated to my face everything was in order for me to realise a week later that they did not do their side of work. This event showed lack of ethics, professionalism and empathy for customers and induced this review to highly discouraged anyone to use their service as a landowner or a renter.
