Negative experience: I HAVE HAD TO COMMENCE LEGAL ACTION against MYHOUSE Real Estate Toowoomba at huge expense to myself. I became aware by neighbors that: During the MyHouse management of my rental property, several complaints were made to the Council by neighbors re number of cats being kept at my property (and roaming onto neighboring properties) and the stench coming from my property. (Neighbor stated the number of cats was well in excess of council regulations and the number of animals approved on the signed MyHouse rental contract); up to a dozen cats at times as well as two dogs). The neighbor stated that they could not open their windows due to the stench coming from my property. The Council attended and impounded several cats. The neighbor stated that after being contacted by the Council, the tenant kept animals locked inside 24/7. After contacting Council The neighbor contacted MyHouse property manager who stated she walked past the property twice in a day and couldn’t smell anything. To my knowledge no property inspection was scheduled. I was never contacted by the property manager about this situation. (I changed real estate management due to a different situation that I wasn’t happy with. The new property manager had the tenant evicted). MyHouse Principal later stated that the stench was due to a blocked kitchen sink drain. I have no option but to take legal action against MyHouse Toowoomba. This review is online as MyHouse have no comeback to dispute my claim.

Fantastic experience: Call Joe now to sell your house! Joe is down to earth, genuine and works extremely hard for his clients. I found him a delight to work with due to his market knowledge and personal drive. He took the time to listen to the reasons for selling and provided realistic expectations for the market on selling a unique property. His communication is excellent; providing frequent updates on the whole process from listing, showing, receiving offers, accepting an offer and through the settlement period. I highly, highly recommend Joe and his team to anyone who will listen.

Fantastic experience: Excellent communication skill and professional knowledge with selling the property . Joe helped us from the beginning to the end when we sold our property. At the start, we were not 100% sure if we wanted to sell it yet but Joe suggested that he takes the video of the house and send to his clients first. We decided to try it and he did it quickly and we got some offers already after a few days. We decided to put it on the market as well after that and we had a few more offers straight away. We didn’t do anything but Joe did all the works for us and talked to the potential buyers even after work hours or weekends. Even when we had some questions, not relating to the house sale, he helped us as well. He replies to our phone call, emails promptly and gives us the reasonable advices during the whole process. (It’s hard to find the real estate people to reply as quickly as him) I appreciate so much for his hard work and would definitely recommend Joe if you are thinking to buy, sell or rent the property. I was fortunate enough to deal with Michael not only during the selling of the property but also the original purchase. Myhouse were also the property agents and great to deal with. Negative experience: After leaving my 1 star review about the poor service I received from the property manager, Joe contacted me and apologised on behalf of the business. I purchased the house with Joe and he was attentive and always updated me with what is happening with the purchase. Unfortunately I didn't receive the same service when they managed the property. The property manager was always out of office when I needed to contact her. I was very stressed as the council had sent me a notice saying there is a constant water leak at the property which needed to be addressed to asap. Joe ended up being the one that resolved this matter. I've changed my review as Joe part owns the business and he was apologetic about the situation. A simple apology from the property manager when I noted I felt I wasn't being looked after very well, just to show she acknowledges would've been enough, but I didn't receive this. I also want to add that I do have 2 other property managers so I am aware of good and bad. This one doesn’t give you extra information or tell you any issues about the house.
