Fantastic experience: I’m an older fellow and like things done properly and without fuss. Holly has been looking after my property and I have been ecstatic with the way she handles things. She keeps me informed, returns calls, and deals with matters in a timely manner. It’s nice to have someone dependable managing things for me these days. Thank you to Holly for all your help. Lauren her assistant also needs a mention, she is great.

Negative experience: I would never recommend Sovereign Property. This has been the worst rental experience of my life. We were forced to move just before Christmas as our previous home was being sold. Rentals were extremely limited in our area, so when one became available, we requested an inspection immediately. We were told to apply before viewing the property. A few days later we were advised we had been approved. When I mentioned we hadn’t inspected the home, I was told they were too busy to arrange a viewing and that if we wanted to pass it on they would move to the next applicant. Under pressure, we took the risk and accepted. That was our first mistake. On 18 December (move-in day), we collected the keys and condition report. Before even stepping inside, it was clear the yard was in an unacceptable state — waist-high weeds, rubbish throughout the garden beds, bins overflowing and piles of branches and clippings around the property. The condition report stated the yard was “well maintained” with trimmed hedges and no weeds, which was completely inaccurate. I contacted the agency immediately and was told to send photos, but that nothing would be addressed until mid-January. Inside was no better. There were rats, a hole in the wall around an electrical socket where you could see outside, plaster sheets detaching from walls, carpets were disgusting, broken tiles annd metal plates in the yard and significant structural cracking to name a few things. I documented everything in the condition report and submitted an additional photos. Out of frustration and not wanting to live looking at it, we paid out of pocket to have the yard cleared. On 26 January, I emailed a detailed maintenance list including: * Redback spiders throughout the garage, roller door and front entry areas * Leaks under the sink in kitchen and the bathroom * The backyard still not cleaned * Internal plasterboard detaching * Ongoing structural concerns Etc etc Two days later I received a brief reply saying they would “look into it.” By 23 February, with NO action taken, I contacted the RTA for advice and was advised we could issue a Notice to Remedy Breach for the outstanding repairs and request emergency repairs for the structural issues, as the property did not meet minimum QLD rental standards. The agency acknowledged receipt and advised they had informed the owners. Seven days passed with no action. After further discussion with the RTA, I issued a Notice of Intention to Leave with a vacate date of 16 March, providing more than the required notice. Then, while we were still living in the property and still legally in possession of it, I received notification from the RTA that the agency had lodged a claim for our entire bond for cleaning fees — despite not having conducted an inspection and despite us still residing in the home. At no stage since move-in has the agency attended the property. We also received an email saying we would be required to pay $2,440 as a break lease fee. I responded advising it wasn’t a break lease as they were in breach of the rental contract. The lack of inspection, the inaccurate condition report, the failure to address health and safety concerns, and the premature bond claim while we are still tenants is beyond unreasonable. I strongly caution anyone considering renting through this agency to proceed very carefully

Negative experience: ⭐️ 1 Star – Avoid at all costs Hands down the worst rental experience I’ve had in over 20 years of renting, and that is entirely due to agent Holly Herrick. Her attitude, professionalism, and understanding of the rental market are embarrassingly poor. We were treated with arrogance and entitlement from someone who clearly has no idea how to conduct herself in a professional role. Respect and basic communication were nonexistent. One day we were offered a lease renewal, and the very next day told we had to vacate. Completely contradictory, disorganised, and wildly unprofessional. The property was left in excellent condition yet the exit inspection was obsessively nit-picked like we were being punished rather than assessed fairly. This is especially laughable considering we had only ONE inspection in two years. To suddenly act like standards mattered at exit was hypocritical at best. This agent talks down to tenants and seems to forget that professionalism is part of the job. If this is the level of conduct this agency accepts, that says everything you need to know. To top it all off, this agent lost the portfolio after the owner pulled the property from her due to her incompetence, then had the audacity to blame us for her own failure. Completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and frankly shocking conduct from someone representing a real estate agency. Do yourself a favour and do not rent through this business unless you enjoy being disrespected, misled and treated like an inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Wayne Laughton at Sovereign Property Realestate Oakey. No question or request was ever too much trouble, and communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The surprise housewarming hamper was such a thoughtful gesture and really showed how much they care about their clients. We would highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling.
Negative experience: So disappointed in the whole team. Rented a property from sovereign, as to say the least so so disappointed. Signed the lease was all well and good. Come to move in and things just weren’t right. Wrote to the property manager and got told it was our fault. Any who, every time we tried to call we were told we needed an appointment regardless if it was an emergency or not couldn’t just show up at the office either because we needed an appointment ( Why?). Got in trouble when we tried to ring up about the pump spraying water because we called the “emergency number”. Emails were never replied to. Sent an email about 2 weeks after moving in about getting a dog they “never received it” and were asked to send it again in total we sent it in 5 times and still no reply or them stating they never received it even with a paper trail. Come to inspections all was good. They spoke to us like we were human. 5 smoke alarm inspections were booked in under 1 and a half years (Why?). Come to the move out. We get an email saying that we don’t get the bond back (legit 2 days later on a Monday) they never went to the property and this is known because the property manager was in the gold coast (receptionist told us) to do the inspection and in the email it says that we were $1800 behind in rent (impossible because it was paid on the day every week). Regardless we got a bond clean and moved out, wasn’t good enough. Got told that there were things wrong (the floor of the bathroom was legit falling down from wood rot, the yard was over grown, there was a couple light switches that were dirty, the counter top in the kitchen was lifting the list goes on) but we weren’t aloud to go back and fix it. Though out the whole lease there was no communication. I don’t speak lightly when I say this is the most unprofessional, unreliable and very dishonest realestate I’ve ever dealt with.
Negative experience: Holly “The Hopeless” Herrick was by far the worst property manager I have ever dealt with. Throughout my entire tenancy she was unresponsive and completely unhelpful whenever issues were raised. Basic communication was consistently delayed or ignored and any responsibility seemed to disappear the moment it required effort on her part. Ironically, the only time she became highly attentive was at the end of the tenancy, suddenly extremely nit picky over inconsequential issues, despite having shown little interest in actually managing the property while I lived there. Save yourself before it’s too late and she tries to scam you out of every cent of your bond.

Negative experience: If sovereign are so good at their job, why don't they turn up for court, no joke, the magistrates know who they are dealing with and so does the RTA. Holly tried to take my Bond by forwarding misleading and false information to the RTA and wasting the judicial system's time. Perhaps a job away from her mother would fix that air of entitlement she has. I'm a home owner and landlord too, we just rented for our son to start his apprenticeship in Toowoomba. Holly didn't even answer the phone on 2 separate occasions to the judge after she failed to turn up, then had her staff lie on her behalf saying she is sick today and can't come to the phone. (I told the judge that I have put up with that nonsense for nearly 4 years). I won Notice no reviews from happy renter's.
Negative experience: My recent experience purchasing a property through Sovereign Property Partners, and in particular with the agent Kylie, was far below the standard I expected. Throughout the process, communication was poor and often unprofessional. On several occasions, the way she spoke to me felt inappropriate, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative. Buying a property is already stressful, and during such an important time you rely on your agent to communicate clearly and treat you with respect. Unfortunately, this did not happen here. There was also no acknowledgment or appreciation at settlement, not even a simple thank you. When I arrived to collect the keys, the interaction was abrupt and discourteous, which left me feeling quite uncomfortable. For such a significant purchase, the overall experience felt impersonal and lacking in basic professionalism. Based on this experience, I would not engage this agency again and would not recommend them for buying or property management services.
Negative experience: Horrible time with Sovereign, especially when Holly Hendrick took over as property manager. Unprofessional, incompetent, lack of communication, false and misleading statements. If she is assigned to you, avoid at all costs.
Fantastic experience: Professional from start to finish. We had a fantastic experience selling our house with Wayne. Their communication was excellent from start to finish — clear, timely, and always proactive. They gave great recommendations on what was needed to ensure a successful sale, and quickly regrouped after our initial sale fell through. Super responsive and easy to work with, nothing was ever too much trouble. We felt confident and supported throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!
Negative experience: Worst experience renting with SPP. Holly and Lauren are both incapable of doing their job... take weeks to reply - if they even bother to reply- late to inspections, rude, lie to tenants, owners and the RTA.. even with email proof she will still continue to lie. Avoid this real estate at all costs.
Negative experience: If you’re thinking about handing your property to Sovereign, don’t. I regret not reading all the reviews before trusting them with my investment. After just five months, I couldn’t cut ties fast enough. Holly Herrick was rude, disorganised and unresponsive. SPP forgot that my long term tenants gave notice & forgot to tell me so I only found out later that my property was vacant and hadn’t been Re-advertised when the rent funds stopped coming in. When they finally listed it, they described my well-kept four bedroom home as a “recently renovated cottage”. The ad was sloppy, inaccurate and careless. A copy and paste of another agent’s add!! The final straw was when they secured new tenant changed the lease after I’d signed it, delaying the tenants’ move-in date without telling me. No explanation, no accountability, just finger pointing. What a joke. Kylie needs to remove her daughter Holly from the business before she destroys what ever little legacy is left. Sovereign Property Partners are unprofessional, disorganised & dishonest. Avoid them at all costs.
Negative experience: Extremely Unprofessional and Disappointing Service Terrible experience! SP Property Management changed the bank payment details for my investment property without my knowledge or approval, resulting in my rent being paid into the wrong account — which then caused my loan to default. Any change to payment details should legally require approval from all property owners, which did not happen. When I questioned this and asked for it to be corrected, the response I received was short, dismissive, and completely lacking accountability — instead of taking responsibility, they blamed me. It took weeks to resolve, and I still did not receive the missing funds. There was no apology, no communication, and no ownership of their mistake. This company is unprofessional, non-compliant with real estate regulations, and rude and slow to respond. I strongly recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for a property manager who values integrity and communication.

Negative experience: I thought LJHooker Aspley is the worst, but Holly is definitely a winner. She does not follow up anything, no routine inspection, never response to any issue. I am sure this is not the job she can do at all.
Positive experience: Throughout our tenancy, we had the privilege to have Lauren as our property manager, who has always been prompt with responding to general enquiries or maintenance requests. We have been very grateful for Lauren's time and effort throughout our tenancy and would be happy to have her as a property manager again.

Negative experience: Multiple Service Failures Our property portfolio was transferred to Sovereign Real Estate when they acquired our previous management company. The experience has been disappointing due to several significant operational failures. Financial Accuracy Issues: During our recent property sale, commission calculations contained mathematical errors resulting in overcharging. After multiple requests for review, they eventually acknowledged the error and corrected it - but provided no apology or explanation for the mistake. Basic arithmetic accuracy should be standard in financial transactions. Contract Management Error: When selling our property, we requested a 3-month lease renewal to align with the sale timeline. Instead, a 12-month contract was sent out. When one of two tenants signed it, we were told it wasn't binding due to incomplete signatures. The agent later attempted to blame the previous management company for importing incorrect information - despite confirming herself that the previous lease also only had one signature. This created legal uncertainty as the tenant preferred the 12-month term and likely had grounds to enforce it. Communication Breakdown: The tenant moved out three weeks early with no notification from Sovereign. We only discovered this when rent payments stopped. We were told an "automated email system" would have notified us, but no such email was received. Financial Recovery Issues: When we inquired about recovering excess water charges (which this same agent had successfully collected from the same tenant previously), we were told we needed a water compliance certificate. The agent appeared to have forgotten the previous collection process and couldn't retrieve the payment. Poor Communication Standards: Throughout these issues, response times were inconsistent with some inquiries going unanswered entirely. These aren't isolated incidents but a pattern of poor attention to detail, inadequate systems, and lack of accountability. Other property owners should be aware of these service limitations.
Negative experience: Abhorrent experience with SPP, Holly Herrick in particular. My elderly Father on a military pension was unknowingly overcharged rent by over $3,000 (independent of the bond). We have sent 5+ emails with full supporting documentation and have had no acknowledgment or response in almost 3 months. This debt has been detrimental to his financial and mental wellbeing, and to have to escalate the matter to QCAT to have his money rightfully returned is nothing short of criminal. I would never recommend renting through nor trusting your property to the management of SPP.

Negative experience: Warning: Avoid Holly Herrick at All Costs Dealing with Holly Herrick has been nothing short of a nightmare. Since she took over management of our rental property, things have gone dramatically downhill. Our maintenance requests have been repeatedly ignored, to the point that we’ve decided to leave a long-term rental purely due to her complete lack of professionalism. Even worse, she has actively sabotaged our attempts to secure a new property by refusing to respond to reference checks — causing us to miss out on multiple homes. She is unreachable, ignores phone calls and emails, and shows zero accountability. This is not just poor management — it’s negligence. She’s making life difficult for tenants without consequence, and we’re not the only ones. Holly is unfit to manage property and should not be trusted. We will be seeking legal advice regarding her conduct.
Negative experience: We had our rental taken over by Holly Herrick and SPP, as our original property manager and his partner both retired and closed their company. We went from having very professional and prompt service to dealing with Holly, someone who does not respond to emails or txts and doesn't answer the phone or return calls. She makes appointments and then doesn't show up, with no follow up explanation or apology. She was blatantly lying and contradicting herself and is generally just terrible to deal with. It astounds me that she continues to be employed in this role. There is a common theme amongst all of the bad reviews for a reason. Holly just doesn't seem to care! Avoid dealing with SPP Toowoomba and in particular Holly Herrick.

Holly is extremely difficult to deal with and will just hang up on you or ignore emails, phone calls and texts. Very disappointing!
Negative experience: 1 Star — Worst Agency I’ve Ever Dealt With Sovereign Property Partners has been the worst real estate agency I’ve ever experienced. They never pick up the phone, take 1 to 2 weeks to respond to emails, and completely ignore maintenance requests — it feels like there's zero responsibility or care for tenants. Since taking over management of the property we currently rent, the experience has been poor — for many of the same reasons outlined in other reviews. To make matters worse, the agency is located nearly two hours away from the property they’re supposed to be managing. How can you effectively manage a rental from that far away? It’s completely impractical. I’d be horrified to be a landlord with them managing my property. At the start of the tenancy, we had an issue with payment. It was difficult to get hold of anyone to check where the money had gone — even though I had thoroughly followed the emailed instructions on when to stop paying the old agency and when to start paying the new one. And that was just the beginning. They also sent us a new lease just one month before the current one ended — and just so you’re aware, lease intentions should be discussed 2–3 months out. There was no prior consultation or communication about our intentions — let alone asking whether we preferred a 6- or 12-month lease. It was completely disorganised, and when we tried to communicate what we wanted, we received no response for weeks. My personal favourite? They kept sending us the wrong lease. Now that we’re preparing to vacate, we’ve had zero communication about their process or what’s expected of us. No instructions. No follow-up. Nothing. We gave two weeks’ notice, and as expected — the property isn’t even listed yet, and we’ve had no response. If you’re a tenant or a landlord, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere. Avoid this agency if you value responsiveness, professionalism, or even just basic communication. And please Holly respond to our email. :)
Fantastic experience: Been with SPP since Oct last year for property management. Holly and Lauren are easy and friendly to deal. They always get back to you on your queries. Overall great experience and would recommend them.
Negative experience: I’m both a property owner (not with this mob) and a renter (with this mob). Here’s a simple list to describe my assessment of my experience with Holly Herrick & her property management style. Arrogant Dismissive Uncommunicative Entitled Dictatorial Unprofessional Uninformed Owners : You pay a fee for management, beware wasting it on an abrasive & unprofessional immature bully. Renters : Keep looking. Look at the pattern in ALL the reviews here. My own story … well it took time but I managed to terminate my lease early without penalty AND today I got my full bond back. Vindicated.

Negative experience: Worst Property Managers EVER. That bad that as the Home Owner with Tenants in my house and recent Cyclone damage that im trying to get fixed through insurance. They dont not answer phone or return phonecalls from myself or the tradespeople trying to gain access to fix the leaking roof and ceiling and mould. So basically im doing the job as Property Manager myself when im paying Sovereign. You know they arent doing their job as a Property Manager when tradies and tenants are calling myself due to Sovereign not doing as above or caring at all.
Negative experience: According to what we were told after they took over our property: 1- They do NOT do open homes. they receive applications via email and forward them to you. If approved, the new tenant goes and picks up the keys. 2- The posted on the ad "not to communicate via phone" and only use emails. When we asked them to remove it and add a phone number, they did but the phone number was going directly to a recorded message asking people to send an email and not use the phone then would hang up. 3- Does not want to go inspect the property after a full kitchen renovation. 4- Very bad communications 5- Make sure everything is via written emails and not on the phone
Negative experience: Sovereign property partners are the worst. They had me gagged and bound in my home and then burned it to the ground. I had extensive correspondence with the RTA to recover the bond but they somehow managed to get away with it. Unreal!
Negative experience: They were really nice at the first when we were buying the property as it was our first home. Their Tenancy agreement was finishing in 3 months time. There were few things for maintenance, which they said owner was happy to repair. After we signed the contract they said we have got tenancy occupied for a year long, which we didn’t know that they had already renewed the tenancy arrangement. Somehow they took time and managed to relocate the tenant. After settlement we got the key and went to the property, found water leakage in the bathroom, rain water pump not working. We informed Liz property manager and she arranged the plumber and was fix just a bathroom sink leakage. I didn’t tell anything about the pump. After 3 months , i got a email to pay the due amount for the plumber that she arranged. In general, we felt like they don’t have enough communication and will give u the enough information. We will never recommend sovereign to anyone. We don’t want anyone to be a victim. Wish I could give ️️️ and make them feel how much it burns.
Negative experience: Tenants BEWARE!! This has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had, thanks to the completely unprofessional and dishonest management of Sovereign Property Partners (SPP), specifically Holly. After moving out, Holly has refused to return my bond without providing a valid explanation or a proper breakdown of deductions. To avoid any disputes, we even hired the cleaning company recommended by their agency, which cost $300 more than standard cleaning services. Yet, Holly still found excuses to withhold my bond. Communication with Holly is a nightmare—she ignores emails and phone calls for weeks, making it nearly impossible to get a response. We have tried multiple times to resolve this directly, but they refuse to cooperate. Their delay tactics make it clear that they expect tenants to give up on their rightful bond refunds. We are now left with no choice but to escalate this to QCAT, since they are refusing to communicate or process the refund properly. Looking at other reviews, it is clear that SPP, under Holly’s management, has a track record of withholding bonds, poor communication, and complete unprofessionalism. If you are considering renting with them, think twice—this company is nothing but trouble. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Fantastic experience: Used sovereign to find a rental property. Literally the only agency to help me find one. Jon was super helpful, returned all my calls, and his office team were super responsive answering my questions. Would highly recommend to anyone. Sovereign genuinely care about helping you out.
Negative experience: Tenants and Owners BEWARE!! There is absolutely nothing positive that could be said about our experience with the team at SPP but notably Holly and Lauren. Never have we ever dealt with an organisation so unprofessional, unorganised and utterly hopeless. The property we were renting was transferred into the management of SPP half way through our tenancy in 2023, from the outset their management and correspondence was appalling. Holy and Lauren are nearly uncontactable, never answer their phones and emails are left for weeks without reply. Half way through 2024 we had a major water leak in our ensuite which caused significant damage throughout, it took over 3 months, countless emails and phone calls for Holy and Lauren to pull their act together and liaise with the insurance repairer. It took me (the tenant!) to chase insurance claims, trades and SPP to see any form of progress, noting that we had no ceiling lining throughout the entirety of winter. We’ve had trades show up with no notice, Holy will either be late or not show at all for routine inspections. They inform tenants their office is closed for days with no more then a few hours notice and they do so not having responded to repeated enquiries or communicating on any level what so ever. Don’t bother calling their office to clarify if trades had entered your home without permission, you will be chastised and told to “excercise a level of trust” and borderline abused by the office staff. If I could give zero stars I would, SPP was once a very reputable business in Toowoomba but unfortunately since changing hands it is a well known fact that they are utterly unprofessional and terrible to deal with. Beware of reviews with 5 stars, if you look closely a lot of them are either from people who don’t even live in the Toowoomba area, given the massive influx of glowing reviews over the last few months my guess is they are buying reviews, noting they are nearly Taylor made to combat poor reviews from other people in the exact same position as us. Laughable! At the end of our lease they attempted to withhold our bond from being returned to us due to a poor attempted repair that was pre existing and in our entry condition report, they plucked a figure for a repair that was exactly the same amount as our bond, luckily we had proof that it was pre existing, but they still however lodged our bond return forms to the RTA listing a dispute which delayed the process of our bond being returned for nearly 2 months! they are without a doubt the worst business of any nature we have dealt with. The worst experience we have ever had with a real estate agent in our lives, it is nearly impossible to put into words how utterly useless they are. They will most definitely be reported to the RTA Avoid avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Negative experience: Absolutely useless team down at the firm. My house was crashed into by a stolen car 3 months ago now and there is still no hope in sight of any repairs. No follow up emails, no return calls, any communication between myself and the company has all been on my end Apparently the lack of communication is so bad, that the owner of the property has contacted me and told me we will be moving to a new property manager. No surprise. Holly is inexperienced

Fantastic experience: Sovereign Properties have helped with buying and selling a property in Toowoomba. Kylie has been fabulous-professional, efficient, effective and no faffing about! Managing and maintaining the property was Holly’s responsibility. This wasn’t the easiest of roles as we had a few maintenance issues however Holly was all over it! She communicated between tradesman, tenants and myself well. She was alway polite and professional. She returned my calls and emails in a timely manner and followed up many things I asked of her. I couldn’t recommend this business highly enough.

Fantastic experience: The ladies at Sovereign are the dream team, they’re a pleasure to work with and have always looked after my real estate needs. In particular Kylie the head of sales & business owner is just wonderful, will always go above and beyond! Holly one of the business owners is excellent with regards to property management and her knowledge is extensive! I have also recently worked closely with Lauren in leasing, she is extremely warm and friendly. I can’t rate these ladies more highly.
Fantastic experience: The sovereign team have been incredible in the past 18 months that I have dealt with them. We have purchased many properties for our investors in Toowoomba and we won’t contemplate giving the property management to anyone else but Holly. She has a list of tenants who are happy to rent another one of her properties, and will also get a great result for our landlords. If we are interested in a property and cannot make the inspection Holly will always offer to do the walk through for us and give her professional feedback. We need more Holly’s around the country!

Fantastic experience: After relocating from Vic and renting for the first time we cannot recommend Sovereign Property enough. They have been absolutely amazing to deal with. Nothing has been to much trouble. A few issues with maintenance was fixed without any hassles and immediately which has been great. Negative experience: The dealings I have had with Sovereign have been ridiculous. Holly has been extremely unprofessional and lazy with all our dealings. My partner and I have had nothing but issues with her. If I could give a lower review I would.
Positive experience: I purchased a property from Chloe which was a good experience, it was currently leased so once settlement happened I was dealing with Holly. From the property management side of things I did not have a good time I then contacted Liz who was amazing. She did in 10 minutes what I was trying to get done over months. I highly recommend Liz, she was chill, proactive and just a very pleasant person to deal with. As a first time landlord she got me up to speed with everything I needed to know and never felt like I was just another customer as she'd take my calls and have a good yarn about things I didn't know or was concerned about. I had rented a house managed by Liz years ago and my experience then was positive as well.

Our property manager Liz and the whole Sovereign team have been nothing but amazing for the past 3 years we've been at this property. Fantastic experience: Recently I got problems in my bathroom unexpectedly during the weekend. I had reported to the real estate agent as well as the plumber. I managed to contact the plumber directly. The plumber arrived immediately after I reported the problems. Even though I have problems in my bathroom as well as home, I am quite lucky to get nice and good hard working people working with me. We co-operate among each other. I am satisfied with all of them as well as the cleaners. Well done to all who were involved in fixing my bathroom as well as cleaning my home. I highly appreciated that. Thank you very much.

Negative experience: I cannot express how disappointing and unprofessional my experience with Holly has been. As per all the other reviews, you have to follow up multiple times via phone/email to get replies or requested documents. Doors were left unlocked after an exit inspection, in which the response was that it was not her responsibility to check if the tenant had secured the property (obviously therefore the outside of the property had not been inspected). Gathering information from the tenant as to if pest treatment had been completed (as required by the lease) was also not done. I previously had positive experiences with Sovereign years ago, but will never deal with them again. Very unfortunate that this experience is not in isolation, and is changing the company reputation.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend Holly more highly. We recently vacated our property managed by Holly. She took the time to meet us on-site to complete the inspection and while she was extremely thorough, she made sure we felt comfortable and reassured that she would allow us extra time to finalise everything. We got moved from another agency to Sovereign and while the previous agency was great, Holly was better. Polite and lovely.
Negative experience: If you are looking for a property manager that is people orientated, manages time well, communicates and is honest, Holly is not for you. Holly took over a very well managed property that I was lucky enough to be a tenant of 5 years with. Since taking over management of the property has been pretty poor for most of the reasons outlined in other reviews. I could list my particular issues but there isn't enough room. What prompted this review was that when provided with feedback to this effect, Holly responded with such an incredibly distorted version of her truth it was bizarre - outlining conversations we had never had, things she had done for which I had evidence that she had not, and really played quite a decent victim in the process. In my tenancy, I do not believe Holly looked out for either my or the owners interests. The 1 star is for Jonny who is the most pleasant, polite and welcoming receptionist I have ever met. Thankyou. Cue the 5 star "glowing" reviews.
Negative experience: Proceed with CAUTION especially if you are a Landlord looking for a Property Manager. I have been following the reviews for a while after realising how poorly our property was being managed by Holly. Most other negative reviews seem to have a similar experience to us. Based on a influx recently of glowing reviews I am pretty certain they are buying reviews to try and save their poor reputation. Our experience with them was very poor, they do not do their job at all, no inspections, no correspondence. Holly is mostly not contactable and if you call her mum Kylie you will get told you are the problem and abused.
Fantastic experience: Kylie truly went above and beyond helping me sell my home. Start to finish she was dedicated, informative and really understanding- while bridging the gaps with communication with other agents and solicitors to get me and my family into our forever home. 100% recommend!
