Fantastic experience: OK so I am a classic for complaining about property managers for a number of different reasons, from the point of view of a landlord, on a council of owners or a tenant but one person makes it hard for me to maintain my negative attitude and that is Nicola Turville-Ince. I would normally grab at a saying like "stands head and shoulders above" or something to that effect but Nicola is at least a full body length above any other property manager I have dealt with in several states of Australia and even overseas. The speed of responses and problem solving is second to none and I get the feeling the team around her is following in her footsteps as they are amazing too. Thank you for being an excellent property manager, I couldn't recommend you highly enough to anyone with an inner city Sydney apartment.

Negative experience: Pretty much the worst rental agents I’ve come across. Was really slow in paying my overpayment back and they wanted to charge me $440 out of my bond to rectify some tiny holes. Rude staff that do not communicate well at all. I even got an email about a property viewing as if I was the owner. We need a new word for incompetent to describe this bunch. Even though I broke the lease early, I gave them plenty of notice. Over a month. More than. Needed to, but they don’t appreciate that all. Wish I didn’t now. Reporter a smell of burning when using the range hood, this never got acknowledged. Glad I never have to deal with this bunch again.

Negative experience: If you're a prospective seller and want to get the most value from your place, don't use these agents. Was hoping to organise a private inspection for a place City Residential Property was selling. On the call the agent mentioned the property was outside of my budget despite not knowing what my budget was. Surprised an agent is trying to deter buyers as opposed to attracting them. Have dealt with many agents, Kristian has proven the most difficult to work with. EDIT: appreciate the response below. Communications were done via my partner which is why my name wouldn't have shown up in your systems. I'm currently overseas, but will reach out when I'm back regarding the property.

Negative experience: My partner and I rented an apartment with them and since we've been in the apartment, it's been one nightmare and one problem after another. Much neglect and lack of professionalism. I don't see empathy and communication is empty, I can't count the amount of emails and phone calls and you invent the famous excuse of the pandemic, since construction has not stopped working. For a start you shouldn't rent a unit where what you advertised as appliances only exists but doesn't work, it's called MISLEADING! Incompetent, I can't wait to leave this property and report you to FAIRTRADING

Negative experience: Unprofessional, deceitful and incompetent is how I would describe my experience with CRP Surry Hills. My co-tenant and I had a falling out therefore both moved out and broke lease, and of course paid all break lease fees. They neglected to invite either of us to the final inspection which I believe is against NSW tenancy law, neglected to give us a chance to rectify any cleaning issue, charged us $750 for a clean (!!!!!) and then lied to us about a wall stain to try and make us pay for a whole re-painting job in one bedroom, which I then (LUCKILY) pointed out to them that in our entry condition report, the stain had been there before we moved in (simple job for an agent to check, no?) No apology, nothing just a “oh you don’t need to pay for that anymore” backtrack. Rebecca Tubridy & Kristian Nelson Marshall in particular were rude, unprofessional and simply could not do their job properly as I had to correct them multiple times on discrepancies, not to mention it took me 25 emails and 8 specifically targeted emails to get someone/anyone from that office to send me a simple tenant ledger and invoice. I’m sure I spent half my life following things up with them. Staff were incapable of completing very simple tasks such as sending tenant ledgers when asked 8 times, replying to emails or call backs, and checking entry condition reports which I found quite appalling. Their excuse as to holding a final inspection without notifying us/having either of us present or not giving us an opportunity to fix the cleaning was they wanted to get everything done quickly because my co-tenant and I had an argument. Just to outline, no damage at all was done to the property.. it was just a matter of basic cleaning, which we were happy to organise (as we informed them via email). I tried multiple times to speak to someone from the office and never once got a call back. Reading other reviews I am not surprised, clearly we are not alone and I eagerly await to see what excuse they will come up with this time to justify everything, although enough people know about the experience we had, including the floods of email trails, so hopefully we can prevent other people from having the same negative pain in the backside. Believe me, if there was a 0 star option I’d be banging that key.

Fantastic experience: I’ve found CRP to be an experienced, professional and responsive property management company that puts its customers first. They have local expertise and use a range of technology to deliver an efficient and personalised experience. As either an owner or renter, they are great to deal with.

Negative experience: CRP have by far been the worst property management service and staff I have experienced in my time as a tenant and property owner. Repeated changes in who is our Assigned point of contact, through to requiring consistent chasing to seek progress on essential repairs including the property being handed over in a very poor state of cleanliness and hidden basic faults covered up for a quick flip new tenancy achievement. They have consistently caused months of delays and presented an attitude of ignorance and aggression with immoral conduct, the latest including statements such as “we are at a loss as to why you haven’t tried to get another job” when requesting rent relief negotiations after losing employment during COVID-19. Statements made by the CRP Agent - Rebecca - not by the landlord... I will never rent to live in any property managed by CRP or ever consider their services for a property I own or represent.

Negative experience: I cannot express the level of disappointment in my experience with Cobden and Hayson. Rebecca Tubridy, Property Manager) made me feel like I was a less than nothing, worthless tenant, while oddly enough, throughout my tenancy I was told I was an exceptional tenant, paying rent on time, keeping the place immaculate, etc. Her level of unprofessionalism and rudeness is beyond my comprehension and how C&H could have hired/kept someone like this in that role. I have been hung up on, received numerous rude emails as well as being threatened to make me pay an extra weeks rent and pushing back the new tenant's move in date after I moved out (we had previously agreed in writing that my notice would be 2 weeks and not 3). I think if C&H had a more rigorous customer service training program Rebecca Tubridy would benefit greatly from it in her current role as Property Manager and for her career's future. Best of luck

They were fantastic - especially considering I live overseas, and I needed someone on the ground who I could trust and that could communicate with me living in an opposite timezone. Fantastic experience: My experience in buying and selling real estate was limited to the purchase of my current property on the city fringe of Sydney, NSW 17 years ago. During my search, I encountered numerous Sydney agents and of course the agent who was selling the property I bought. I have resided in my apartment ever since, and, over the years, I did avail myself of the many offers of free appraisals on the property, during which time I met even more Sydney real estate agents. I admit that I did not ever feel terribly comfortable or trusting of a single one of these agents along the way.
