Fantastic experience: Iskandar Real Estate has been the best agents we have dealt with across our rental journey. From the lead up to tenancy, during and after our tenancy the entire team was kind, professional and prompt. They are quick to rectify issues and fix things without us having to think about it! It has been lovely to deal with Iskandar and recommend them highly.

They are professional, personable, very quick to respond, they are awesome at picking up the phone and having a conversation rather than having long email chains, that are great at accomodating, they are great at looking after both parties in a transaction, and they are amazing to deal with. Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience with Iskandar was quite disappointing . Their agent, Mr. Kostas, scheduled an inspection but wasn’t able to access the apartment. He said a video would be sent to whoever showed up for the inspection which I did, after taking time off work. When I followed up, he simply suggested I come to another inspection, as if the wasted time was no big deal. After I posted this review, he then mentioned there was no existing video something that would’ve been helpful to know from the beginning.

Negative experience: I had an absolutely terrible experience with Iskandar Real Estate that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. From start to finish, this agency demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic respect for tenants. Dishonest practices: They falsely advertised a property as a long-term lease, then created unnecessary stress during a vulnerable time in my life by going back on their word Poor communication: The owner of the agency consistently spoke to me in a condescending manner and treated me as problematic for simply trying to address legitimate concerns Maintenance neglect: I dealt with a non-functioning oven for months, ongoing roach and ant infestations, and leaks that they told me to call emergency services for rather than handling properly Unfair expectations: Despite the property being so filthy when I moved in that I had to hire a cleaner on moving day, they tried to make me clean things I hadn’t even dirtied upon vacating They claimed major works needed to be done as justification for ending my lease, but re-advertised the property shortly after I moved out with virtually nothing done to it. This proved their dishonesty and showed they could have easily resolved the situation without causing me stress. Iskandar Real Estate has terrible ethics and treats tenants poorly. Their unprofessional behavior, dishonest practices, and complete disregard for tenant welfare make them an agency to avoid entirely. I have no doubt they will write a gaslighting response to this.

Fantastic experience: Very good agents throughout our tenancy. The owner Tony is very kind and we had an outstanding experience working with our PM Michelle Sadek. From the very beginning, Michelle was incredibly helpful, responsive, and attentive to our needs. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and guided us with patience and clarity every step of the way. What really impressed us was her ability to act as an excellent liaison between all parties involved. Michelle has exceptional diplomacy and communication skills, which helped navigate some tricky negotiations and ensured that everyone remained on the same page. Her professionalism and calm demeanor brought a great sense of reassurance during what can often be a stressful process.

Fantastic experience: I was renting with Iskander and found them very efficient, fair but also professional. Not time wasters, just got stuff done on time, no problems getting issues attended to on time. Old fashion service which is not common to find these days.

Fantastic experience: Angela and Dominque are very kind and understanding agents. They are very prompt with their responses and were very helpful throughout the time we rented the property. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience with this real estate agency was disappointing due to the unprofessional conduct of one of their agents, Mr, Kosta Giannakakis While the staff in the office were friendly and approachable, Mr, Kosta promised to follow up with me regarding a property I was very interested in renting. He assured me that he would check with the building manager and get back to me within 1hr now it’s been a two days . However, despite multiple attempts to reach out, I never received a response. I later found out the property had been leased, and I was left with no communication or explanation. This lack of follow-through and communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the agency’s professionalism. Promises were made and not delivered, which feels unethical and misleading. I hope they can improve their service to prevent future customers from having similar experiences.

Negative experience: I DON'T even want to give one star. I rented with First National Iskandar for over 7 year and I highly recommend all renters, especially asian or person can not native speaker steer clear of this agency. I had a really bad experience with this agency, especially with Fernando and Tony. Not a very reliable persons, despite agreeing to certain terms in meetings, phone calls, texts, and emails, they never provided the new contract.Tony is their leader, but he also has a duty to protect any tenants. Otherwise, who would rent and run a business?" Furthermore, with a change in managers midway, they referenced completely different terms, making them an unreliable personhe mentions another completely different. They did not install separate water metering facilities for the commercial and residential properties and they demanded an unreasonable water bill of $2,682 from the commercial tenant. They promised to refund this amount if the similar charge as like previous issued that amount was determined within three months, but they did not return the money for me. Am I rent swimming pool? During this period, a pipe burst, and Sydney Water 's staffs had to come out to fix the building's plumbing issue. Consequently, we were unable to operate for four days, but we did not receive any compensation for this from agency or lanlord. While we were operating, we numerous times requested the real estate agency to address the issue of the tenants on the second floor not cleaning up after their dog's urine and poo in the backyard and after a party, but they did not take any action. We were particularly shocked to see that, after the incident where a tenant died from a drug overdose, the property was immediately rented out to someone else without let them knows that fact. We faced many issues and were denied rent adjustments during the COVID periods. They inexplicably evicted us, and despite reopening with the help of a lawyer about two months later, we received no compensation. Additionally, we received the renewal contract that was supposed to be provided in 2015 only in 2022, which prevented us from selling the business. Furthermore, their accounting system errors resulted in unreasonable charges, which also had to be resolved by a lawyer. Because they never ever see what I emailed. NEVERcalculate by themselves so they can't prove where's came what they wanted amounts. Additionally, they said they wouldn’t terminate the lease unless we fixed their broken back door. Although it wasn't our responsibility, we repaired it, but now they’re saying we need to pay $500 to end the lease. I requested to provide original picture when we moved in. Even I sent email with my evidence, they never reply me and no refund so far. Also in regards to the bond, they did not properly lodge our bond with the Rental Bond Board so I waited for almost 6 month to have my money back. During this time very hard to contact with them, and I had to spend a lot on legal fees until the end of this hell." Since the commercial tenants has no power, so tenants have to pay the money according to their any demands. Thank you to everyone who has read my long story, and I hope my experience helps you decide whether or not to proceed with this real easte deal. It's difficult to focus solely on business, so I sincerely wish you find good real estate and that your business prospers.

Property manager is very responsible to any requests from me and my roommate! I would like to highlight the support I ve gotten from Angela, she is very nice and easy to communicate with. Fantastic experience: One stop shop . Tony and the Iskandar team have been my management agents since I purchased the unit through them in 2010. The team have been amazing and have a great management team at the helm. Tony assisted in the design of a refresh of the place prior to sale, attended all open houses and kept my updated along them way. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Tony and the team to purchase from, rent or sell through.

Negative experience: Rubbish agents that will take you for a ride and screw you over. Don't rent from them. Just take a look at their response to see an example of their attitude. I have indeed dealt with them and they were terrible.

Negative experience: Ignores tenant rights to deliberately bias monstrously illegal landlords. Does everything to ignore tenant needs and rights to screw them in favour of abusive landlords. Do not use.

Fantastic experience: We rented a property from this agency for just over a year and my biggest regret when we moved out was no longer being with the agency. Our agent, Fernando DeSousa, always went above and beyond, especially when we moved in and were having some difficulties getting our NBN connected. The entire time we were there, any issues were dealt with promptly. I didn't even know there were agents who were so helpful! I can't recommend this agency enough.

You are getting the principal of the firm with loads of local knowledge and experience in the industry and the areas which he operates in. You are not getting a fly by nighter with him. I met Tony after the GFC in 2009. Unlike other agents who lease their Mercedes on a monthly basis to impress their clients, Tony has bought his with impressive results over decades.

I will definitely be using this firm again if looking to rent. Bond was returned very quickly and communication throughout was amazing.

Negative experience: I rented with First National Iskandar for over a year and I highly recommend all renters steer clear of this agency. The communication with our agent was very poor - he frequently forgot to reply to important emails and preferred phone calls to avoid any kind of paper trail. It was a massive effort to get maintenance done and the eventual results were abysmal. At one point, they tried to charge us $400 to replace a 20 year old toilet. It was only after I brought in three different licensed plumbers to prove that the issue was not our fault that they finally replaced it. Overall, a terrible experience and I hope other renters are able to use this review to avoid this agency at all costs.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience with this agency, especially with Alex. Not a very reliable person, since he agrees something on the phone and on text/email he mentions another completely different. Also in regards to the bond, after the agreed value, I waited for almost one month to have my money back. During this month he wasn’t returning my calls, very hard to contact, always telling different excuses to not pay the bond back . Very disappointed with the service of this agency.

Tony went out of his way to help me and my young family when our landlord unexpectedly decided to sell the house instead of renewing our lease. He was therefore my first choice when it came to managing my own rental property and later the sale of my house.
