Fantastic experience: Cameron McDougall is a professional, dedicated agent with excellent market knowledge. We were initially very cautious when selecting an agent to sell our house, from the outset Cameron was straight up, honest and was very confident and knowledgeable about the local area with his initial advice, and was quick to send a quality, detailed appraisal. Cameron supported our wish to sell our property off market and once our house was ready to view, he wasted no time in doing a video walk through and creating a plan of the property to present to prospective buyers. We had the first inspection within a short time, and several offers and Cameron was very helpful in advising the pros and cons of each. The offer we ended up accepting was not run of the mill and was subject to the sale of buyer's house with early.access required. Cameron was very helpful in dealing with the buyers and facilitating the negotiation of fair contract conditions and providing advice where required. We had some challenges along the way including smoke detector compliance and our hot water service failing just before the building inspection, Cameron took everything in his stride and went out of his way giving advice, facilitating access for repairs etc and following up to ensure everything was ready up until the final inspection and then settlement. Cameron was very confident, professional and diligent throughout the whole selling process and supported us every step of the way. We would recommend Cameron to anyone wishing to sell their house without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional advice and service. Right from day one Craig was my team man. When I was doing the upgrade I had 12 days to do it in, during that time he checked my progress and helped with trade contacts when i needed them. Once I finished and handed over to him his professionalism and experience really came to the fore. He had an open house next day. Offers were made that day and within a week he had a contract for me, which I might add was way in excess of what I thought I would get. Marketed the unit beautifully. Can't speak highly enough of Craig as a person and a real estate agent.

Negative experience: Where do i start? Firstly Ray White Kirwan wanted to withhold a portion of our bond as we had swallows nest at the front door. Its illegal to move native birds during nesting season and carries a maximum penalty of nearly $24k. Once I made them aware of this fact they instructed the bond cleaner I organized to get rid of the nests. They then advised me they will humanley relocate the birds which is also illegal and carries the same penalty. We payed rent in 6 month instalments which equals 5 months apparently. The estate agents changed mid lease, all of our documented evidence of current damage to the property was lost or not obtained (incompetence) and they are trying again to make us pay for previous damages. Just rude people, passive aggressive emails and constant spam of emails from Charlee Ironside. There are a lot of great small real estate businesses in Townsville, this is not one of them.
